Hi Arunesh ,can I become a freelance data scientist without any technical background or any corporate job experience? I'm a bsc physics grad student and looking for a switch in my career .I have basic understanding of Excel,SQL and Python. I really want to pursue Data Science but I'm confused about the future opportunities. I'll look forward to your reply ,thanks.

I am a pharmacist but I want to make a career in data science. Do i need a degree like MSc or M tech in data science. Or can I do it by self studying. I am not financially strong. Please reply

In my opinion, you should join the Data Science program offered by IIT Madras.

@@sarcasticsweety It is a 4 year course but you can skip any year. You have to give at least 2 years, then you will get a certificate Diploma in Programming and Diploma in Data Science

You don't need a degree from a big institute. Data science is all about skills, not big certificates. Instead of just learning from KZbin (self-study), consider taking any good certification course. It will help you with projects and provide community support. Feel free to ask if any other doubt!

I gain an Advanced level of knowledged in MS Excel and I also have a Certificate of it, and in present I'm learning PYTHON and then SQL and last one is Power Bi for data analyst career and I am also not from IT background but I am interested in this field and I want your opinion on my Path I am following up right now that I am going on right or wrong direction! And yeah thankx a million for your helpful information about these higher career based choice's, its really worthy for me ✨🤍

After Data course completion: 1. Do 4-5 good projects (as a fresher, your projects are equivalent to your work-experience) 2. Focus more on profile building (include those project details in your resume/profile, apply to as many companies as possible, ask for referrals in linked in)

@@DataCraftersHub Job descriptions don't always match the real requirements. APPLY ANYWAY and make sure to include atleast 2 projects in your resume. As fresher, your projects are equivalent to your experience.
