There are no words for how remarkable this is! I like that you ended up with 2 levels for the base versus 3. It takes a true artist to create with freeform resin, I enjoy the colors, yellow is so underrepresented. Really magnificent and will be cherished by your grandchildren’s nanny for many years to come! 💛

@@NunziaCreativeArtistry Just so you know friend, I haven't forgotten, I am working on 4 pieces that were inspired by your original design. One is going to take a lot longer as it's very unusual however 2 might be done today and if so, I will upload a video and let you know. As soon as I get one piece almost done, I have more designs in my head lol, I cant keep up. Do you sell these and if so what's your asking price? My son has a store I plan on selling them in, here in Canada.

Hi, I love your work & am so glad I found your site! I love how you are telling us all the measurements, but I haven't heard you say how thick the finished resin is. Could you please share the thickness? Love your work! Thank you!!
@NunziaCreativeArtistry4 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really love that you are enjoying my videos! Freeform really depends on effect you are trying to get. I have made delicate sculptures 1mm thick and you do have to be mindful that holes may form in the drying process when they stretch so I try for a little thicker now, say 2mm. Bowls can be any thickness, I’ve made up to 10mm thick. This one in the video varies from 2mm to 4mm when I measured it. The resin self-levels when making it if your surface is level, but when on the former, as I said it can stretch and as this one had the rocks it perhaps pulled it a little more then usual. But it didn’t form any holes so I think I had the thickness right. It is trial and error half of the time which makes it exciting as with Freeform you never really know what the finished result will be, that’s the best part of creating. Happy creating! 😊

Hello, Can you pls tell me if i coat my canvas painting with resin.... Will i be able to frame it.. With the resin? The glass frame which people usually do on canvas paintings... But i want it with the resin coat. Is it possible?
@NunziaCreativeArtistry4 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I haven’t worked with painting and resin much so am no expert on this. However from my experience with resin you may need to watch a tutorial as there are quite a few things to look out for. Example, the painting must be absolutely totally level and dry, no moisture at all, otherwise resin will pool in the middle and resin interacting with moisture will spoil your painting. If it is an oil painting it may be months before completely dry. I shall include a link to a tutorial that may help. You can frame a resin painting however resin can be heavy so you will need a stronger frame. A floater frame is often used so the frame doesn’t touch the surface which can also be prone to scratching more than glass does. Also be aware it may yellow over time depending on resin and where it is hung. Resin can give a painting a wonderful glossy finish and highlight the colours but as you can see, there are so many things to understand. You wouldn’t want your painting to be ruined after your hard work, so watch some tutorials first to understand more. Good luck. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIm2c62Xf6qij5Ysi=GiQgCTBez3Nhovqf
