I was a kid watching this show and it’s Danny and Lacey that are carved into memory and nostalgia! I believe there was foul play since he was THE rising and outstanding choreographer

Wow just seeing this now, RIP Danny I was introduced to him through SYTYCD - I can say for me I have watched every season of that show and I can say that Danny was my No 1 favorite dancer to take that stage. There was plenty of great dancers that graced that stage , but what Danny laid down on that stage during his season was nothing short of perfection. His grace and ease floating across that stage has never been replicated or eclipsed. I will remember his beautiful face and exceptional talent always. I shall come back here often to revisit his greatness. Thank you for sharing this video with all of us, it is important to remember and see him as he wanted to be seen.

Every couple of years I look up Danny Tidwell to see what he's up to and to watch his final dance on SYTYCD, and I just learned that he passed away 10 minutes ago. The tears are flowing. Gone too soon. RIHP.

I will never forget this most exquisite dancer...he was so beautiful .... I cry everytime I see him dance now. He still moves me. ❤💐🇵🇦

I'm so deeply saddened to hear of your passing my friend, Danny. It is so rare to see such a beautiful facility in a male dancer. You were such a delight to watch, may you dance with the angels in Heaven.

To this day, there isn’t a dancer that has come through SYTYCD that was at Danny’s level. Some great talent, but Danny honestly didn’t even belong there, he was in universe all his own. They were lucky to have him and we were lucky to witness it.

I did not know him, never met him....but like so many cherish the gift of his life, shared powerfully in many ways, but through dance for his fans. His spirit of dance got me through a very rough time in my life....he inspired me. He is also my favorite all time dancer. I wish we could have had more of him...I am sure not more than you hoped for your time together. I continue to post his videos of him on my facebook. I love the way his body played the music. Breathtaking!!! I pray you and all of his family and friends are healing. Thank you again for sharing this inside intimate view of him. I hope you are able to make a movie of his life. I think Rege Jean Page, though not a dancer, could capture his essence... Build, stature and features are remarkably similar. His story is valuable to our community. Blessings to you and yours. He was such a beautiful dancer. Certainly the best dancer to ever grace the SYTYCD stage…by a huge margin. No one has ever come close. This video made me smile, made me laugh, made me cry. RIP, Danny Tidwell…you are sorely missed.
