Twin Power = Core Solid. Exsence = Magnumlite. Twin Power is great and probably one of the best bangs for the buck, but it isn't a Stella. If you want to experience a sample of the Stella, get the Twin Power.

The regular Hundo was supposedly designed to be their finesse reel (even though they have the LTS specific to BFS). My problem is that I like my outfits to balance at the reel seat nut on the rod, so it’s a challenge to get a 5 oz reel to give you that, a little heavier is better for some rods especially 7’ or longer. The longer ones that balance best are BFS rods (Phenix, Cashion Icon, Dobyns Sierra Ultra Finesse, etc). Folks that complain about the drag may be better off with their other models meant more for power fishing.
@LakeProTackle7 сағат бұрын
I'm not a fan of it being a finesse reel. It doesn't handle the low end of weights the best compared to something like a curado 70 or even 150. I find it is a great flipping and pitching reel with 15-18lb fluoro or 40lb braided line
@barry4fish5 сағат бұрын
@ There is at least one YT video where someone cast 2.5 gm quite a long ways with one. The spool weight is considerably lower than most other 100 sized reels, and I had also heard the spool from their LTS reel may be interchangeable. I don’t do any power fishing; if I bought it, I would use 8 lb.fluoro and mount it on a light power rod with a 1/8 to 1/4 oz lure rating. You can do that more easily with many non-BFS reels than most people realize - my Daiwa SV100 casts 1/8 oz lures great, as long as you use a light rod with lots of flex. Thanks for your insight.
@LakeProTackle2 сағат бұрын
@ There are also multiple versions out on the market. Some of the earlier production models (my case) had some casting issues. Since then I havent tried a newer one where they fixed some issues
@barry4fish10 сағат бұрын
In my opinion all baitcasting reels should have outgoing click on the drag, like all spinning reels have. People who complain about that feature are those who lock down the drag anyways, but some of us enjoy the sport of playing fish, and the outgoing click is part of it. That is why most of the BFS reels have that feature (and the Lew’s BB1 Pro as well).

Top-selling rods don't mean good rod. It just means people are dumb and they listen to KZbinrs. When it comes to breaking, Daiwas, Shitmanos, and Megaasses excel, but you would like to disagree with me. You'll see. I don't use Japanese number one bullshit. Must go halfway through as I don't want to support noobs.

Reels transmit vibrations from your rod into your hand. There is a such thing as more sensitive reels or reels better suited for bottom contact techniques

@LakeProTackle13 күн бұрын
Yes they do bend out if you overpower your rod, drag, and line. No question about it. Never argued that they don't
@WolverineXXXX13 күн бұрын
@LakeProTackle You said I know everything blah blah blah.....that they were good...that you should fight the fish. Yes, but nobody fights a bass. And my point was they suck and nobody uses them which the pros kept saying over and over. If you want to go that route, I never argue that I can't fight a fish or that it cannot be used. In fact, I might have said I've fished carps with 4 lbs. What I am saying also is stop being haters just bc. Some people hate them to death is what I am saying if you can't make it out. I think you hate me bc I use the term Megaass too bc off course, it's everyone's favorite. If it wasn't trashy, I wouldn't say so. My other point is all these fakeass YTubers are saying the exact same thing, yet you don't bash them like I do. I do what I do bc of the damn misinfo on the net. To say the hooks are great and not tell the whole truth is misinfo like the fake news. I was saying, if you buy a Megaass, you'd have to change the hooks. Secondly, you could have taken that route and sell some trebles, but I suppose you're not as smart as you'd think.

Honestly there is no point to buy reels in the US market anymore. I can get better deals in the JDM market and most of the time i’m getting better quality reels that are still made in Japan 🇯🇵 Yes you have no warranty but I’ve never had any issues with the reels I’ve purchased. Even if there were a problem I’m smart enough to fix it and order the parts I need if it came down to it. I refuse to pay the prices they charge for the same damn reels the warranty isn’t worth almost double the price !!!
