This is obviously a total fakery (typical of the fake & fabricated disinformation that's inundated the internet in droves), and I have proof. This is just a video taken from NewsActive3's page (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXKbn2RnacqMjsUsi=7mzDxGwF6M8rMWOe&t=26) of a commercial break from an NBC News Special Report, "Viet Cong Terror: A Guerrila Offensive", from January 31, 1968 (not August 29th). It's the same video with the same commercials, the same local WRC-TV/NBC News station ID, and even the same gray videotape head-switching noise bar at the bottom of the screen, with :30 to :53 in the original video edited out and replaced with the "hijack" in this video. And when you take the "demonic" low-speed & reversed mumbling and speed it up and reverse it (using an audio editor app of your choice such as Audacity or Adobe Audition), you get a clip of a rather cartoon character-sounding voice saying "Mmm, richer!", probably sampled from a commercial (EDIT: it's from the Zelda CD-i Morshu meme: knowyourmeme.com/memes/morshu). Plus the audio of this has been degraded all throughout (the high freqs are rolled off considerably) to try to hide its fakery (the original NewsActive3 video has much clearer audio). Nice try, but I'm on to you, Mr. Headroom. :)
