Not actually in the tornado, but at the edge of its circulation. Otherwise the winds would be far stronger. But this is nice footage.

I used to work in this building back in the late 80s early 90s and it was scary then.

I used to work security there. It’s most definitely haunted. But you missed Al the scary areas. Should’ve went down to the tunnels, to the old morgue and to the area they kept insane and infectious people locked away.

I had a horrible experience in 1993 there. There was a place for kids called Quest at the time. (3rd floor) We were allowed to go at night into the old a abdoned maternity ward. I never stepped back into that place again. I had a nursing offer that paid well and turned it down due to the location.

How do you call this safe? You're OUTSIDE while you should have been inside taking shelter. I don't care if you do call this safe, it wasn't, I don't care how close or far away the tornado was. Tornadoes can change direction on a dime, suppose that tornado switched direction, and came right at you, it was rain-wrapped and barely visible, you could've been sucked away with no time to react! Safe.... yeah right.

Not quite in the tornado, just right next to it, you can barely make out the tornado but awesome footage either way. Some of the best inflow footage I’ve ever seen.
@stormchaserkirk3 жыл бұрын
Definitely an experience , To me the RFD and Infow are better than the center of circulation . I like to stay alive
@Fartypantslive3 жыл бұрын
@@stormchaserkirk I’ve been in the exact same location as in this video too. It was my first time storm chasing solo earlier this year. It was an EFU that was never reported and I was probably the only person who saw it. The clouds were being cut into with a clear slot and the clouds started curving in the wrong direction with intense positive charged lightning so I got scared and started heading west. Then I saw a bunch of inflow and was driving into it just like this video and then I looked over into a field next to me and there was an anti cyclonic tornado maybe 100 yards away. Rain wrapped and as tall as I could see. I screamed and started hauling even more ass west. I talked myself out of it being a tornado for about the next 20 minutes but it was exactly like this video. I think every other storm chaser that day missed it because it was anti cyclonic and I just so happened to see it because I was a noob at the time and was in the right place at the right time because I didn’t know what I was doing.
