She is not at all attractive. Princess Alexandra was far more beautiful. Edward was nothing but a fat fornicator. He probably had syphillis.

Listened to Helen in the 70's and still do today! One talented lady with a powerful voice. Can't imagine how she was able to learn all those dance steps!! Amazing talent!

The Royal Performance stopped the nation of Australia, I remember Helen came on last and boy did she deliver! Also little known fact : Helens fabulous white dress where she flaunted the White swirls at the start of her performance were meant to symbolise the Sails of the Sydney Opera House...Helen and Olivia were sensational that special night , they were the two standout Australian international stars in the 70s, also Helen upstaged the Queen by wearing a Tiara at the meet n greet after the Concert. The ending of the show is also superb and is here on KZbin, it went on and on and on......RIP Helen , Olivia and not to forget Peter Allen, other notable performance was by a young Australian Music Royalty Star Mr John Farnham

I very much like the song 'I Wonder' that they played at the end. It's very romantic and beautiful, creates many pleasant feelings and evokes the sense of bitter sweetness that one feels when you're in love. Most men in their 30s don't listen to this type of music these days if they even know of its existence. Strange how back then they said it was a more conservative time but the music of the 1960s is more honest, people baring their hearts about how they feel over their beloveds, in most un English fashion as well. People aren't brave like this now. How sad that in 2024 men are encouraged to express themselves in certain ways, but never sincerely and never as these bands of the 1960s did back then.

I remember the show, Shindig. As I was 10 years old when this came on the air. I don't ever remember watching the show Shindig as a kid. I may have found it a bit corny? Or maybe Mikael's Navy was on? And I would never see the show because of something like that. Maybe it was the Andy Griffith show? Or, Highway Patrol with Brodrick Crawford. Yeah that's it. That's why I never saw Shindig. Of course next year. I stopped watching all of those shows. There was only one show I would care to watch.. It was called Star Trek. And it came on when I was in the 6th Grade. And we still had show and tell. So the morning after debuted. It was my turn to show and tell. So I got up from my desk. And I sauntered up to the front of the classroom. And I just stood there and looked at everybody in my class as I panned my view back and forth. I didn't say anything yet. Then I pulled my wallet out of my back pocket. And I flipped it open and said beam me up. And all the other kids started laughing. As they had all seen Star Trek the night before. And so I guess I did the first Comedy. Based upon Star Trek. Likely the first person in the world to do so. I thought I was pretty clever. As I was also the Captain of our schools A V Team. Which would let me just get up and walk out of class. And go take a slide projector or a record player or a tape recorder or movie projector. To another classroom and set it up. Get it all checked out. Then go back to class. Yeah I felt pretty special. And I had a crew of kids that worked under me. I remember one day. One of my crew members. Dropped a Bell & Howell movie projector down the stairs. It got kind of busted up. And while we could've just sent it out for service. I didn't want to be down a projector. So. I set out in the hallway. While my teacher was teaching. And I disassembled the entire projector I was going to fix it. And fix it I did. But my teacher wondered what happened to me? Any came walking out into the hallway. And… OH MY GOD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! I just fixed it. You didn't have to he told me. I said yeah I know. But now we're not going to be down a projector for a couple of weeks. He knew he had a firecracker on his hands. I loved my teacher. My teacher loved me. He was so much fun. He was a great teacher. I think about him all the time. He had a hot yellow, brand-new Corvette stingray. I stayed after school one day. Working on some gear. And he was still grading papers. When I got done. The sun was already going down. And he was ready to leave. He said hey I'll drive you home. I said thanks. And it was in that yellow Corvette stingray. And he wanted to give me a little thrill. And he gunned it a couple times. And that was perfectly fine. Because. Because we were right off of 11 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue. Known as dragracing capital of America. And everybody did it back in the 1960s. They still do it, today. It's where it was Invented. And my dad used to take me down to the dragstrip,, semi-regularly. It was so much fun. I miss those simple or days. Everything has gotten so complicated today. I don't like the over complexity everyone is forced to live with. Even our cars. Nearly impossible to repair today. There are so many computers in them. What happened to simplicity? Basics. Tradition. It's gone. And Baby Boomers like myself. We are dropping like flies. It's all over. RemyRAD

Most of the new comedians today are crap. They all run around the stage swearing and think that is funny. They cannot stand there and tell a good joke.
