I am not from Chennai bro..I am from Kerala. In Chennai weather you can slowly move the plant towards full sun and get it adjusted...make sure the water tray never gets dry and refill daily...vfts won't perform well unless they get full sun

They are generally care free...I have noticed grasshoppers munching of the leaves..but nothing serious. So I don't bother much and leave it be...

You can grow them in semi shade..but if it's too shady, then flowering might be a problem

If your nepenthes is not forming pitchers, it needs more light...also pay attention to the humidity of your area..very low humidity will also slow down pitcher formation.

Any bio fertilizer like compost would be sufficient...just apply it once every 2 months...You can also give a liquid feed of NPK once every 2 weeks..

Slightly increase the amount of light you are providing for pitcher formation. Also make sure the humidity is high enough. You can mist your plant occasionally or place pebble trays filled with water near the plant to increase humidity.

I won't recommend that as it can get drier too fast..best for orchids and epiphytic plants..but not so good for nepenthes...

You can trim the flower stock 2-3 inches off the crown of the plant...the remaining portion will eventually wither off and you can remove it lateron.

To my knowledge air-plants are not native to our area. Not even in Asia. It's mostly found in western continents. Most well established plant nurseries in kerala now carry air-plants. Just check with your nearest one. One that specialises on orchids might have air-plants more frequently.

Yes i know 1 seller from kerela. One of my 4nd has just bought recently vft big mouth nd b52 giant from him. Quality is good. Even i also bought b52 from him. One more variety is B52 giant with big trap. That is just similar to b52. Just traps r big in size.
