The stupidest thing I’ve seen today. This is the biggest strawmen argument in history. Each one of the girl sentence rings true, but it is formulated just to introduce the slightest inaccuracy that deceive the uniformed. For instance: no book will ever say that abiogenesis cannot be true, at most they will say that we still don’t have fully understood it; “mutation only looses information”… false, mutation changes information. Etc.

What's unfortunate is there are teachers who are allowed to really say this and believe it and don't believe in religion and make kids feel bad about their faith. We took Jesus and God out of school but allow safe spaces for kids that don't know the difference between a man and a woman. And if this were real life, the student would probably be kicked out of class and punished.

I tried to have this debate in school once, didnt go as well, there were tears and ended with me calling the teacher an asshole and one other kid calling him a pedo (that was a long standing rumor). Not pretty.

A smart person learn everything regardless of faiths or creeds. An ignorant person denies even listening to other views. Being a christian is fine, and so is believing evolution, but hearing ALL the information on ALL the perspectives is imperative to think for yourself. Understand all religions and theories. It makes you more intelligent. Choosing to follow whatever god you choose after hearing EVERYTHING is true faith.
