Hey! Thank you for watching. You can use any type of photo / video light. Just make sure, you can use it even without diffusion. You need a harsh light source. It can be something like Aputure Amaran, or any LED panel. :)

Hi Andrea. Loved your video, i will def try this before investing a optical snoot or something. Thanks so much. May I ask you how the paper you use is called? like the note book with complementary colors I think it´s really useful too :). Thanks

Thank you, My backdrop book is just ordinary color paper sheet. I bought it in local shop where you usually buy papers, notebooks or any creative stuff. It is not classic photography backdrop. I am glad you like it. It is not special product, so i cant send you link. Thank you for stopping by, have a Nice day :)

Hey! Thank you for watching my video :). If you want to shoot handheld, I would use shutter speed at 1/100 or faster, Aperture between F2.8 and F4 and ISO as low as possible While maintaining good exposure. Here I was using artificial light, so I could bring up the exposure simply by increasing the light intensity and I didn’t have to raise the ISO that much.

Thank you. What is your opinion on the specular highligts that hard light creates on glass? Do you remove to them or keep them
@AndreaNemethova
@AndreaNemethova Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and feedback :). It depends on your requirements. If you need a clean looking image, you will probably spend more time in post anyway. I personally prefer more organic look and if such “defect” isn’t harming the image, I usually leave it like that.

Using Glass for swatches and textures won't be a good idea because- 1. You won't get the freedom of lighting as the lights and camera might reflect in the shots. 2. You will end up getting fake/bad shadows for the products/swatches that won't look realistic. You should go for waterproof matt vinyl background instead of using glass and it won't reflect anything!
@AndreaNemethova
@AndreaNemethova Жыл бұрын
Thank you Sanket for your suggestion. You are right, vinyl background is really profesional alternative. In the time of making this video, i wanted to show and demonstrate how to get good looking photos when you dont have a vinyl background. On top of that, i like experimenting, so this was fun project how to make things different. Nowadays, when i shoot products for any company, i use profesional background in my studio. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your experience. I appriciate it ✌️Have a Nice day :)
