Dubois came into the fight with a strategy that completely caught AJ (and Ben Davison) off guard. They had prepared for a certain type of fight, likely expecting Dubois to stick to his usual aggressive, come-forward, head-on-a-line style. But Dubois changed his approach-more movement, more patience, and unexpected angles. That strategic shift threw AJ off balance. When AJ's fight plan doesn’t align with the reality inside the ring, that’s when he unravels-quickly. AJ and Davison had prepared for one thing, but Dubois showed something else. It’s like studying for a test, only to find out the questions are completely different. AJ is a technically sound fighter, but he has a low boxing IQ. AJ fights like he's following sheet music-precise and rehearsed. But boxing, especially at the top level, is more like jazz. It’s about adapting, feeling the flow, and improvising when things don’t go as planned. When the fight strays from his plan, AJ struggles to adjust, while great fighters thrive on unpredictability. It was that tactical surprise from Dubois that exposed the cracks in AJ’s preparation and execution.
@davidstechart1168Ай бұрын

AJ has never been a great fighter, he has never beaten any really serious contender, anytime he come up against a true challenge he falls apart, he doesn't have ring IQ, he doesn't know what to do when he gets clipped, he panics and starts fighting on instinct instead of using his brain to work out how to get out of the situation. He has been overhyped for years and has been found out, it's time for him to retire before he gets seriously hurt but knowing how egocentric he is he will carry. on until he ends up with serious injuries.
