My older brother has always been ahead of the crowd with things like this. He shattered my view of the song Creep back in the mid-90's. I highly doubt it was a conscious decision at first. I think they were writing music, felt this awesome inspiration, and went with it. Unfortunately, the inspiration actually came from their subconscious memory of another song.. not from their creative process. Though I don't think Radiohead realized they'd ripped off the Hollies when they wrote Creep, I do wonder WHEN it came to their attention. Someone around them must have noticed at some point. Did that happen before they recorded it, while they were recording it, or after the album was released? Being surrounded by musicians and producers.. I have to think that they probably knew about it well before they got sued by the Hollies.

한국에 프로그레시브 메탈 음악을 선보인 과히 최고의 밴드라 봅니다. 한국의 드림시어터라 불리울만 하고 그만큼 탄탄한 연주력이 뒷받침 되었기에 가능했다 봅니다 게다가 곡의 가사른 보면 철학적이고 진보적인 사회비판적인 메세지 또한 전달한 몇 안되는 당시로서도 그랬고 앞으로도 이런 뮤지션이 또 나올지 의문이다

4:38 there is a didgeridoo also There's a great live version on KZbin they recorded during covid in a virtual concert. Keyword: at the Heath Ledger Theatre. I mention it because there's a didgeridoo on stage for that performance

나레이션이 끝나고 9분52초부터 시작되는 김세황의 기타테크닉과 스케일을 보라 연주도 어렵거니와 저런 기타의 진행은 신해철 김세황이었기에 가능했다. 몰아치는 기타와 받쳐주는 드럼 그리고 긴장을 최고조로 끌어올렸다가 완화시키는 저런 진행은 정말 태풍이 급격히 몰아치고 어느새 잔잔해진 파도와도 같다. 넥스트 2집앨범은 그간 솔로나 넥스트1집에서 보여준 것는 확연히 다른 최고의 음악이었다. 그는 발라드에서 테크노 댄스 헤비메탈 프로그레시브까지 모든 음악을 섭렵한 전세계 유일한 음악가이다.

COG are awesome. Such a unique sound full of powerful ambience. I don't want to say "underrated" because that word's thrown around a lot these days, but I certainly feel like their music deserves more attention than it ever seems to get. That's prog for you, I guess - IYKYK. Edit: They're the kind of band that I think of a bit like Tool, Karnivool/Birds of Tokyo or Fall of Troy - you have to be open to new sounds, and letting them take you on a bit of a journey with their music, but if you let them then they'll show you a musical experience unlike any other.
