Devialet Mania is still the smallest speaker in the world that can reach 30 Hz and Devialet Mania is also a stereo speaker. Devialet Mania > Cabasse the pearl Myuki. If Myuki was smaller or the same size as Devialet Mania, then I would be impressed, but nope. Devialet is still the king of deep bass on the small speaker gategory.

Wow quite the price tag, for that kind of money i'd also invest in a dedicated listening room, acoustically sound proofed for low noise floor and acoustically treated with a mix of absorption and diffusion to get the best sound of of these. No point putting 190K worth of speakers in a echoy room with a long RT60 (reverberation time).

86 db is a LOT better then 83 db !! the decibel scale is not linear, every 10 db is a doubling of the volume, so 86 db is around 40% louder than 83, oh and, your explanation of CNC is a bit innacurate as well, the process used to shape the aluminium components of the headphones has nearly no importance at all

I've had two for the last few years and the volume dial on BOTH has failed. Shanling refuses to fix or replace them and says for me to have the store where I bought them take care of it! Horse feathers!

I love TEAC's build quality, I wish they would just have an all analog pre-amp in their offerings. All the pre-amps are something else first, A fully balanced analog Pre-amp would be a great addition to their stuff.

Looks cool. As a guitar player and industrial designer, I'm interested. Other than the legacy icon employment, it appears to be a departure from the guitar amp aesthetic. It looks classy on it's own accord but I do like the nostalgia of the wheat grill cloth and orange tolex of the instrument amplifiers. Is this a bookshelf system? I think I would make a decoy cabinet using the old aesthetic, hide the two white bookshelf speakers behind grill cloth and square up the pyramid on top. Done. No charge.
