je zou de statische remschoenen op de rails kunnen vervangen door hydrolyse remschoenen die bevestigt zijn aan de buffer cilinders en zo de druk doen toe nemen als de snelheid toeneemt. you could replace the static brake shoes on the rails with hydrolysis brake shoes that are attached to the buffer cylinders and thus increase the pressure as the speed increases.

these thing are only good for 4 mph or less hit 1 with a 200 ton locomotive and it will rip it right out.

This is excellent. It would probably be good to solve the prevention of lifting the rails from the bed, which is given by the mounting lever. But as an emergency train stop it is excellent.

This would be good to video in infrared . We would be able to see the sudden temperature increase in the dampers and rail clamps.

The real take-away from this is the terrible quality of the driving. Trains shouldn't be hitting the buffers at all.

Impressive, but I want to see how it works with a full loaded train pulling a Practical Load. I feel like it'd just plow this thing down the track and maybe slow it by a few Yards depending on how much Mass it's pulling vs. speed. It looks like this has 4 Cars, not sure I've ever seen a train that short.

Are these pneumatic, or hydraulic? Or a combination of both, as the name suggests? And does it damage the ties as well as the rails, during an extra high-power stop?
