I looked into this a bit. This is the same error as the Crystal death warp glitch in Vanilla. In Crystal, the pukapuka guys straight up don't check bounds when trying to spawn the floating head object, and the same is true of the controller logic that spawns the enemies in waves in this clip. Ultimately what happens is, the enemy's X coordinate gets written to Mega Man's screen number. When you die, you fill up all the sprite slots with explosions, so that's how the overflow can occur. Unfortunately, that controller seems completely custom; I can't think of anything in vanilla that behaves that way. Can you? I will post a more detailed writeup on TASVideos.

Yeah especially in BCAS known as Burst Chaser Air Sliding it’s a super fast game and it makes this game a lot more challenging. And for my PB I almost tied with you but fell short by 1 second. But that’s ok as long as I’m happy with a 26.

The fact that my reaction to most of the things the tas does is "i love how you can just do this" really shows how stupidly broken minus infinity is, not saying that's a flaw, i love games that have insanely stupid shenanigans during speedruns. Also my boy super shadow man got the respect he deserves, love that the regular arena music isn't used for him.
