Where did you manage to get that extended left side safety from? Was it a full set or did you just install the left side only? Any fitting needed?
@PBPistoleer3 күн бұрын
Don't have access today to my records. But from what I recall, Colin, this is the place & the part that I had sent to me from Italy. xrayparts.it/en/cz-75-sp-01-spare-parts/2621-cz-75-sp-01-shadow-wide-safety-ambidextrous-type-3-zendl.html No fitting was needed - just a plug-n-play replacement. And FAR better than the too-thin-from-factory thumb safety CZ ships with - the only real flaw for the gun stock. Just check for sure with X-Ray that part will fit (as I did with them, given I'm not 100% certain that's the EXACT one I bought) with the TS2O first before ordering. Good luck ! Cheers !

I purchased a S15. The first two outings, I had issues with the last round of the magazine not feeding. Weird! Since then, ive had no issues and I'm very happy with the Alpha Foxtrot. Its a soft shooting gun and like you, i installed the Antimatter wing which helps with recoil management. Ive also installed the Holosun EPS carry. The only thing i wish it had was the external extractor and maybe a mat finish. It is definitely a fingerprint magnet...let us know how your range experience goes. Ive put over 1k rounds through the S15 and its my edc.

That's great to hear, Lees. I'm very glad that you've had (and many others have) good reliability with the S15. As I stated very clearly - it really does shoot fantastically soft & accurately & manageably for such a small-barreled pistol (and it's a beauty too). That's why it was really upsetting to part with it. But mine ended up (and it seems more than a few others too) developing a steady 2% failure rate (chambering and ejecting), and that's just too much for a true defensive, tactical (car) gun. I have 300 rds thru the Kimber - and will do another 300 rd session in a few weekends ... and then officially reporting back to you. I hope your A.F. keeps running like a sewing machine - and your experience with her continues to be fantastic for a long time ! And yes, Antimatter or other, I have a gas pedal / thumb rest on every one of my pistols. Thanks for watching (and I hope subscribing). I have some good ideas for upcoming content. Happy New Year ! I've spent about 30 minutes just handling her (racking, triggering, gripping, safety-ing, checking grip angle / sighting) & I'm overall very pleased with the fit and perceived quality. Seems damn good / very fine for the money spent. Now for the more important part - shooting her a good amount, and getting to know her particular feel, muzzle rise, return to zero, and handle-ability. I am SO hoping it ends up being as reliable & accurate & pleasant to shoot & fast to shoot as those 90% of other YT reviewers have stated. Hello, what do you think is the fundamental difference between the PDP F and PDP F Pro models - except for the trigger and the magwell?
@PBPistoleerАй бұрын
Hi Reuven. Thanks for commenting / participating ! As (from my video) I'm no expert AT ALL on striker fired pistols or Walthers, for that matter, I believe you nailed 2 of the 3 or 4 upgrades on the F Pro vs the F ... the trigger & magwell. I think the Pro also comes with extended magazine basepads for a few more rounds (nice) ... and it may (or may not) have deeper / better slide serrations. I personally view those 3-4 upgrades as substantial & well worth the price ... especially the metal trigger (both for feel and function). Don't know / not sure if I'd make a change (sell & buy) if I already had the F. But, if I hadn't bought either yet - I'd certainly pay up a bit for that better Pro version. Just my opinion. Cheers !

All of the extended safeties have found are out of stock. I’m thinking about selling it. Any suggestions?
@PBPistoleerАй бұрын
Hey there, JS. No No No 😁! Don't give up on a spectacular pistol for 1 part that's giving you a bit of trouble ! Option 1 - If you are ok with the width of the thumb ledge / shelf, and only are having problems with it snapping on / off with a tactile (but easy) click - then simply bring it to a good, competent gunsmith in your town - and have him work the thumb safety until it's clicking on/ off as you want. That would be a very inexpensive, easy fix. Option #2 - If the width of the thumb safety's ledge / shelf is also a problem for you (as it was for me) then contact X-Ray parts in Italy ... make sure with them that this part is indeed wider than the stock TS2O safety ... and (if so) buy it & have your local gunsmith install it properly on your TS20. xrayparts.it/en/cz-shadow-2-spare-parts/639-wide-extended-safety-for-cz-shadow-2-cz.html. I was fortunate to be able to pick up the TS2 Deep Bronze and it's phenomenal. I use it for USPSA and 3 Gun. I've got about 5000k rounds through it now and it just keeps putting a smile on my face. It's one, if not the, most fun guns I've ever shot and I own a bunch. I have 2 STI (Brazos Customs) and a Staccato and I'll take the TS2 over all of them. My only two complaints, and one is minor. One, the mag release gets gummed up very early and needs to be removed to get cleaned properly. Two, getting parts is damn near impossible. Hopefully CZs reputation with reliability will go with the one I own.
@PBPistoleerАй бұрын
Hi Sam. Thanks for commenting / participating ! Never seen live or shot the TS2 Bronze - but I do know that was the top-of-the-line TS pistol until they recently came out with the TS2O. And given how fantastic the TS2 Racing Green I previously owned was (and your Bronze is above that) - you indeed have one helluva shooter there ! I also agree that, for the price, the CZ TS's and Shadows are simply unbeatable in what they give to the performance shooting enthusiast. That says a tremendous amount that you'd put it above your Brazos' (which I know are superb customs & semi-custom 2011s). I do believe the CZ will give you years of great shooting ahead (their reliability is one of their best reputational points). But parts will indeed wear out. For parts & enhancements & accessories, let me recommend that you go to Eric Graufel shop in Europe, or X-Ray Parts in Italy (if not CZ's actual site in Czech or USA store) - they both seem to have good assortments & availability & ship for all-in low prices (regardless of being overseas). I used X-Ray for several items - most recently the extended ledge thumb safety. Keep up the good work & straight shooting ! Cheers !!!

@@PBPistoleer Thanks for the parts house sites. Also check out Toni Systems if you haven't already. I have their RDS mount and its machining is impeccable. What I'm talking about are factory parts....ie barrels, trigger bars, etc. What I am specifically looking for are things like a new slide. I have the dovetail mount for my RDS, but I would like to have it cut (which is very doable and there are plenty of shops that specialize specifically in doing this for the TS). With that said what I want a back up slide should something happen in cutting/shipping/afterwards/etc. Those such parts are impossible to locate and with the deep bronze being a lot different, with different parts, and also a "European sales only" pistol, even more so. Additionally the Deep Bronze is, not was, THE flagship of the TS line, even over the TSO. The Deep Bronze was specifically designed for CZs International IPSC Shooting Team with the members making the decisions on what they wanted on/in the gun. The obvious differences include a larger and lower rear safety lever to allows for a better "thumb ledge". A reprofiled, more ergonomic, front thumb rest (gas pedal) that is way different than with the RG and O, this was so it can be shot even faster. The takedown pin is also more profiled, and then there's the color. The internals are where the BIG differences really are. The first being the barrel. The profile, while still a "bull barrel", they're slimmer than what is was in the RG and O. They are hand picked and tested for accuracy and then they're polished inside and out for faster cycling. The biggest difference in the model is that ALL of the parts in the Deep Bronze are specifically hand selected for each gun and then hand fitted by a single smith...not on an assembly line like the other TS models in order to obtain the closest tolerances possible. You will immediately feel this upon picking one up. But again, being so different, it creates a problem with any issues that may arise.

@@samlind8330 Thanks, Sam, for the continuing excellent conversation. Yes, I know that the Bronze was a non-US / International offering that is/was their top TS offering. Now I understand your quandary regarding back-up parts - thanks for clarifying that. On that front, I can only suggest you email Eric Graufel Shop - it's his own retail outlet, but since he's THE MAN at CZ, I'd bet he can probably give you better guidance than anyone else regarding how to go about obtaining what you need. And, he / his team there DOES respond pretty actively to inquiries. So, best wishes with that ! As to the Deep Bronze is/was the top of the line, I respectfully (though I'm only 98% sure 😁) think I'm correct that the newer TS2O (not the TSO) - which was launched only early this year - is now CZ's top Limited offering. Pretty sure they discontinued the Racing Green & Deep Bronze - took all the best features from both - and added top-of-slide serrations, a true, full Bull Barrel (first in a TS) - a new guide-rod system for longer life - a changed angle of the gas pedal / thumb rest - and a raised thumb safety for stronger down torque. Eric Graufel (a CZ's Limited pro) was deeply involved in its creation & launch. At least, that's what the endless videos & articles I watched & read 1 year ago - 9 months ago led me to believe before I bought it. Regardless, good sir, you have a SPECTACULAR pistol - and I have a SPECTACULAR pistol. And I plan shooting it for a lot longer. I'm now 3,850 rounds in, still loving it, still getting to know it intimately, and have 0.0 regrets in its purchase. Gotta go work, now. Cheers, my friend ! PBP

Have you done anything to this beautiful piece yet? Like a dpm or anything like that? I don't know if you load your own ammo or not... but if not, the federal 205g syntech action pistol rounds out of my ts2o are like a cheat code. They sound so quiet, and the recoil is minimal. They are obviously more expensive than your run of the mill 165 or 180, but they are really great. Can't recommend enough. Just shot the last match of the season up here yesterday and i think im gonna work with the ts2 really hard this winter on dry fire and the indoor range. We'll see what happens in March when things open up again.
@PBPistoleer2 ай бұрын
Hi again, Willy ! I have not. I just looked into it again yesterday - DPM doesn't make a recoil spring package for the TS2O - at least not yet. So I'm shooting it fully stock - except for the wider thumb safety that I bought after-market & installed for a wider ledge to press down upon after drawing / while shooting strings. Don't load my own ammo - just use factory 147 grain stuff that's 950-990 fps. But, what you wrote about 205 grain - you must be shooting the .40 S&W version of the TS2O (major) - not the 9mm like me. Regardless, we both really seem to be synching nicely with this superb, reliable shooter. So glad your loving yours like I do mine. I am dry firing regularly & live fire too (now up to 3,300 rds). While you are stopping / heading indoors for the season, I'm doing some final work to prep for just a few Action Steel competitions in Dec - April. Keep up the great work & thank you for commenting ! @PBPistoleer2 ай бұрын
Well, AF, that is just about the nicest comment I've received yet ... so THANK YOU very much ! I'm very glad my ramblings somewhat inspired you. Yes, I do feel that many quality pistol manufacturers have now made the double-stacked 1911s / 2011s (and the CZs, Sigs and other quality platforms that function so) the clear-cut pistols to own of today. If you know my channel, you know I'm not a fan of the countless polymer / striker-fired offerings. And, much as I truly do appreciate the aesthetics & 'purity' of traditional 1911s ... giving up that additional capacity at no cost just makes little sense to me. So I certainly do encourage you to find a beautiful, cool DS 1911 / 2011 that fits your hands, grip and natural shooting preferences well, and 'go for it'. I'm 99% sure you will not regret that decision one bit. The only hard part is finding that one that fits the above specifications really well - and at the price range you want too. As I do with all my friends, I'd be happy to give you some suggestions (after some needed input from you), if you want that. Regardless, thank you for commenting & participating. Thank you very much, Archerious ! Mine is in 9mm - so shooting Limited division - minor. I have to say that - with the meaningful improvements they made over the TS2 Racing Green, and the original TSO - the pistol is simply fantastic. For the price I believe it's practically (definitely?) unbeatable as a pretty high-level, out-of-the-box race gun. And, for me specifically (very important to distinguish that given my hands & natural shooting preferences) it's nearly perfect. The more time I spend with it (now ~3,500 rounds), the more I synch with it and appreciate it. Not quite as good as my Bul Radical - but at 2/3 the price of that - it's right there in a bang-for-buck comparison. Do you have any CZs ? What do you shoot ? TGIF ! Anyway, if you order a Radical now (though I've heard rumblings they MAY discontinue this amazing, incredible model) - it'll certainly come optics ready w/ Bul's cool mounting system. Good luck & let me know if you do so. I know it's crazy to call a $3,090 USD pistol a bargain ... but it IS THAT GOOD. @PBPistoleer2 ай бұрын
Very sharp eye there, Kurt ! Thank you for Commenting - and thank you for your concern. Yes - that is a Cheely grip fit to the Radical - so it doesn't have the exact parameters of the Bul module. Fortunately, my gunsmith is top-notch & does really superb work - and we addressed that when we were building it (along with ~50 other things about making it work properly). He (aside from locking it down internally in ways I don't pretend to know) even did a drop of welding from the top of that grip module spot to the bottom of the dustcover where they intersect - but you can't see that at all ... really great craftsmanship on his part (he assured me it would be so). So it's locked down fully & completely & 100% ... rock-solid tight, as if from factory. Again - Thank You for reaching out. And I hope you're enjoying the rest of my content, as well. Cheers !

@PBPistoleer2 ай бұрын
Hey there, WIMUT - thanks for watching & commenting ! Here's my best advice for you ... (1) That AF s15 shoots INCREDIBLY well, stable, manageable & pleasantly for a 3.5" barreled gun. But it seems that all manufacturers making less than 4" 1911 / DS1911s / 2011s have some challenges on the 100% reliability scale. I have no doubt at all (if you end up having any issues after purchase) that AF / Dasan will stand behind the S15 - and pay for any shipping in, full repair, and shipping back to you (at no cost to you & in about 15 days time). So, if you can live with that, then I DO recommend it. (2) But if the idea of that isn't good enough for you (which is 100% fine, if so) then you might want to try out the Sig P229 Legion SAO (if you like their platform's ergonomics - though I personally didn't) or Walther's new 3.5" or 4" PDP Pro F-series (given its same thinner grip to the AF), if you are ok with striker-fired pistols. I just yesterday posted a video about those Walther models (worth a watch for you), and that MIGHT end-up being the better choice. Hope that helps ... Thanks for watching & participating (and I hope subscribing & liking) ... and keep shooting straight !

@@whyismyusernametaken... Sounds like a sound plan - with a nice backup option, too. I have pretty much zero doubt that Alpha Foxtrot will fully honor their warranty - and handle things quickly / professionally / properly to satisfy their customers (just like they did with me). Andy So at A.F. / Dasan was great to work with on that front. One thing to check - I believe (search internet on this) that the S-15 had some feeding reliability issues with many (but not all) of the Stealth Arms Gen 2 magazines - but that was fully resolved with the Gen 3 SA magazines. So, check which ones you already have. I have the Gen 3 SA magz, and they work fine / reliably. Lastly - if / when you do buy the S15 and put at least a few hundred rounds thru her, please hit me back & let me know your thoughts. In my opinion, it's an entirely different world (shooting experience wise) than the micro-polymer 9s that rule the planet these days (my wife's G43 included). Tell them you've bought previous Buls & are truly disappointed in the Fit & Finish of your new Tac 4.25 Pro - and that it's just not up to par for such a pricey offering. Maybe they can do something for you ? Maybe they can't ? But give that a chance before quitting on the brand permanently. Just saying what I'd do. Good luck to you, sir ... and thanks again for your feedback. All is useful !

I have a P. I also have a Bul Tac 4.25 and Bul Air. I've also got an MPA DS9 Hybrid and Commander. Those are my 2011s. The P isn't a particularly good value when compared to the Buls. Neither are the MPAs, but they're nicer than the P. Anyway, the Bul Tac 4.25 goes toe to toe with the far more expensive P. The P's finish may be better but that's it. The Bul Air compares very faborably with the far more expensive MPA Hybrid. The Hybrid has a bit better fit and trigger but not by much. Their main differences are the Air's polymer grip vs the Hybrid's aluminum grip and the optic sits lower in the Air. That's my long-winded way of saying that Buls are crazy good values that compare very favorably with far more expensive US options. I can't decide if I like the P or Tac more or the Air or Hybrid more. They're that close. I do like the fact that Staccatos and MPAs are US made, and that's why I won them, but dang, the Buls do punch above their weight, and I'm searching for a Radical right now to try. I've no doubt it'd go toe to toe with an XC, especially if I had the sight block cut with a comp.
@PBPistoleer3 ай бұрын
Well, first off, SEAK, you have a pretty sweet pistol collection there - so congrats on that ! Aside from the Buls & Staccatos - that MPA is hot & really really good, too. ! Thanks for your Comment & thanks for watching my channel. Yes - we are indeed of the same mindset as to value-for-quality in the Bul vs Stacc debate. Extraordinarily similar in their excellent quality - but Bul is lower priced in every category. So, if you can just be a little patient for delivery - and the USA build isn't a full disqualifier - then why not ? And, in that value realm - The Radical is truly exceptional for the $3090 msrp ... honestly don't think it can be topped by anything. I hope you get one soon ! Lemme know if you do & how it works out for you. THANKS AGAIN for participating ... shoot straight & fast ... and Cheers !

@PBPistoleer Sadly, it appears that Bul USA isn't selling Radicals anymore, so I'm stuck scouring the web for a used copy. I found one a couple of months ago, but it wasn't a good time to buy for me, so the hunt goes on...
@PBPistoleer3 ай бұрын
Hi again, SEAK. You know - I've heard that Bul is going to discontinue The Radical 3 times now. But I still (tonight) see it on the Bul Armory USA website - though not in the Shop section. Did you try to call them in Miami to make a personal try ? Or something else ? I guess my 2 Radicals will become collector items. I guess if they do really discontinue it - then that'll leave only 3 non-custom sight block production guns being produced anywhere (Atlas Artemis @ $6,500, Atlas Nemesis @ $7,000 & and now this Limited Edition Staccato @ $4,300) I hope Bul has a few unsold for you (for an apparently mere $3,090) before they're gone. The sight block really does help in the flat-shooting, lack-of-muzzle-rise arena. Cheers !
@SEAKPhotog3 ай бұрын
@PBPistoleer I do need to call Miami. They're for sure still making them - they were shown at a recent European gun show. It looks like they made a decision not to sell them in the US anymore but I do need confirmation from Miami - good point. I was wondering if they plan on introducing a comped version to compete with the XC, etc. and that's why they older models aren't available but nothing was hinted at during that Euro show. My search will continue. I'll just have to control myself and not spend my Radical money on a Blaze when they come out 😉
@PBPistoleer3 ай бұрын
Last points I can add ... (1) Blaze is a replacement for the Air, and I visibly don't see any difference - it might just be a name change, but maybe an upgrade or two. (2) They do have comp'd guns already - but not yet to compete with the XC. All their comp'd guns are for Open division - the Ultimate Racer, Ultimate Racer Shorty, Spitfire & Bullesteros. (3) BUT - sometime in 2025 they are launching a comp'd & ported - both - SAS Tac to compete directly with the Stacc XC. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYvHqZ6Zotqiack

DWX compact...
@PBPistoleer3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion, Enrico ... and a good one at that ! The DWX Compact certainly does qualify for what I like & what I've been interested in. And I 100% gave it serious consideration, as well. BUT - my Alpha Foxtrot cost me $1250 all-in back in early '23 ... the Sig P229 Legion would run me just about the same ... and the Kimber KDS9c Rail you can get for $1550. The DWX Compact (GREAT gun!) can't really be acquired for anything less than $1900 all-in. And, given that my A.F. (and the other two) are really really good, capable, easy-and-enjoyable-to-shoot options - I just don't see the value (since I already own the AF, and would have to go thru the process of selling that for a reasonable price to spend a good amount more for the DWX) in making that partricular switch. Check out my upcoming Car Gun Quandry - Part 3 video to see how this ultimately plays out. And, until then, THANK YOU very much for your participation ! Cheers !

I have a staccato P and I enjoy it very much. I have tried to purchase a Bul, I just can’t because they’re always sold out. I tried to get the ultralight awhile back, and then recently the ultralight pro. I asked Bul to notify me if they become available but I’ve yet to receive anything.
@PBPistoleer4 ай бұрын
Yes, indeed, Dee ... you have found / voiced the one definite & clear weakness with Bul's offerings - availability. I believe the current Israel Gaza war has made things even worse for the past year, with so many citizens called to duty. But it's never been a plentiful & readily available situation, and that's turned off several people ... including my best shooting buddy, who also turned instead to a Staccato P, and absolutely loves it, and shoots it extremely well (now his main Limited Optics pistol). I do hope my main point came across - that they are BOTH fantastic & roughly equal offerings at all sizes & purpose levels. And paying a $300-to-even-$600 difference doesn't matter much, given one's personal preference. But $700 - $1200+ is just too crazy a spread for me to have not weighed in 😁 with my opinion. Still, I didn't bring up your very good point about availability - and that's totally legit (and the MAIN reason my buddy ended up going with his Staccato - and countless others, as well.) Thank you for weighing in ! Cheers !!!

Recently purchased a Sig Sauer P226 X5 Legion.....I have rented the Stacatto XC at my gun range 4 times and have probably put 500 rounds through it - without a doubt one of the most enjoyable guns on the market to shoot, love that gun, not the price!!! The day I bought my Sig, once again rented the Stacatto XC as well as the Stacatto P alongside the SiG P226 X5 Legion. The Sig blew me away as to how comparable it shot to the Stacatto XC, don't believe me, go rent the 2 & shoot them. The Sig X5 Legion has less recoil and shoots BETTER than the Stacatto P hands down, no question..........I love what I am hearing on the BUL Armory guns and will buy their new combination comp - ported gun they will be releasing in 2025 per gun con!! The Sig X 5 Legion is a better gun than the Stacatto P...............

Thanks for commenting, Chris - much appreciated. Wow - that's a strong endorsement of the Kimber ! The KDS9c seems to be Kimber's effort to modernize (a double-stack), get their Quality Control back up to where it was & should be (the 5 years prior to this seemed outright brand-damaging), and reintroduce themselves as a 'premium-production-scale-pistols-for-fair-price' manufacturer in a tough competitive field. And the reviews HAVE been supportive of this. So, given that it checks my necessary boxes, I'll definitely give it a shot vs my Alpha Foxtrot. I don't own & haven't shot the KDS9c, but have a friend who has one. So, I'm trying to wrestle him down for time to do a shoot-out between his & my repaired & upgraded Alpha Foxtrot as my car gun (proving harder to schedule with him than I though. But please know that my A.F. now represents a very high bar for the Kimber to clear - given how GREAT the S15 shoots for a mere 3.5" barreled pistol. idc about competition but for duty, conceal, really anything when it comes to edcing a gun, id take anything other than a staccato or just wait for the market to release more entry level guns. idk how you can justify dropping 3-5k out the door without a semblance of some buyers remorse for a carry gun, glocks have been the gold standard for a reason and their value is one of them. weird gray area for me cause i dont think your carry should be more than 1-2k, but the performance for 2011s is practically as good as turning cheats on, that alone is making me consider picking up a platypus or a ported bul. idk bro, 1-2k$ 2011s are still a p competitive market and tbh bul has insane value id rather give my money to them.

Thanks, Keith. Yup - I don't shoot anything else (I own) that flat - and even the new, heavy CZ TS2O doesn't seem to be in the same neighborhood. The Radical makes shooters (me included) look good :) And, the only pistols I've shot that compares to it are the Laugo Alien - and higher-end ported & comp'd stuff. Cheers !

Nice, thats the standard TAC, not the pro variant correct? I just received my SAS2 EDC (standard) and just commissioned a smith to make a ported threaded barrel so i could beat Bul to their TAC Comp coming out next year. I dont have the patience to wait heh. I uploaded a slowmo EDC under fire if youre curious between the TAC and EDC differences. Im eager to tune it up nice!

Watched your EDC vid - you shoot that NICE ! My Tac Commander was one of the original ones from 3 years ago - no fancy upgrades or ports. But it shot beautifully. Good luck with all your upgrading--to-come ! Sure it'll work out well. Cheers, my friend & keep shooting straight !
