I always thought that MANOWAR was to KISS as Ross The Boss was to Ace Frehley in that respect totally. Each band had technically better guitarr players and did great albums afterwards, but they lacked that certain "feeling/soul" of the originals. Ross and Ace were of the old school of blues based players. Not a knock against the new school at all, just stating a difference.
