Paxton Fettel uses his telepathic abilities to take control of a battalion of clone troopers. Fortunately, to stop an armed conflict, it is enough to eliminate the commander - after this the clones will cease to act and will be absolutely safe. And finding Vettel won’t be difficult: he has a sensor implanted in his head that gives away his location. He will not have any protection; one of the conditions of the program is the safety of the commander; he does not fight along with the rest of the soldiers, but only controls them at a considerable distance. The protagonist of the game is the new operative officer “F. E.A.R.”

They need much more and better tutorials to learn all the aircraft systems (autopilot, atc etc).

I think they will use AI to fuse Satellite photos, Google Street View images and video data from drones/autonomous cars to build a digital twin of the planet. There is already so much data/images/videos of almost every place on Earth already. They really just need to train the right AI. The digital twin would be living and breathing like GTA 6. They could take inspiration from OpenAI Sora.

First of all, missions and activities are the MOST purist thing about MSFS. 2020 being the first game with no missions at least since FS9. They were especially prominent in FSX, with so many great missions like Keys Intercept, Tokyo Executive, Whiteout etcetc adding so much life and replayability to the game. To me, this is a most welcome return and the fact that they are now interwoven dynamically inside of a living Flight RPG is amazing. LFG!!!!!

What Mr. Dedeine fails to realize is that there are many of us out here who do NOT want to do things perfectly. We want the experience of the missions on our own terms. We own the sim. I don't see myself using the "Career Mode" for this reason. I do not need his help. I hear there are many others who feel the same way. It is his way or the highway. I don't like that.

More cores does not mean better. It’s the speed at which the cores work that is important. How much work load they can get through quickly without bottlenecking. Not everyone’s cores run at the same speed. There are performance cores and efficiency cores that can do less. Hopefully this was considered when saying, just use everything the user has. What’s left over for other tasks and addons?

I've seen a lot of videos of people hating on humberly Gonzalez while being the main lead character in Starwars outlaws. I'm still playing the game and I hope she pisses the haters off by having Ubisoft make a sequel to the game. The game is not as bad as the critics say it is. The one thing I don't like on what she is going through is how people act like it's the end of the world because a female of color is playing the lead role in a video game. Ridiculous. The haters need to get a life

I like Jorg, you can really tell by the things he says that Flight Simulator is a passion project for him and he cares about the hobby and about aviation as a whole. I have high hopes for FS2024.

I think the galaxy black with the disc drive is going to be limited quantity. Meaning once Microsoft sells out you're going to have to pay an even higher premium on places like eBay. I just hope they keep a disc drive in the next gen Xbox just as a final version for people with a lot of physical games like myself.

Jorg actually says on the MSFS website and in quotes, "We can basically get every rock on Earth now; it’s unbelievable". Good to know how he actually did that. One of the best interviews out there. Congrats....

Getting Anthem 2.0 vibes

Baldur's Gate 1 had Girdle of Masculinity/Femininity which changed the gender of the wearer. Magic items, potions and spells that change the gender of the target creature are VERY commonplace in all fantasy universes. So, why on earth do people in Veilguard, imaginary world that is filled with mages and magic, need actual surgery to change their gender??? That is so incredibly silly idea that it put me off from buying the game when it launches. Such things should always conform to the logic and the rules of the game world, not our world. So if they had given us magic potions that change gender, I would've been fine with that, but actual surgery, yeah, that's just brain fart.

next time, they will put two more giraffes and one hot air balloon more on the game cover and call it FS 2026 and sell us the same first FlightSimulator engine AGAIN until we AGAIN realize that it's still in beta for the next 10 years. am I wrong?

Just getting into DA:I DLC, maybe the best game series ever. Played through all Dragon age before this drops and god damn, these games are just amazing. Graphics aside, so many game mechanics, so much world building and narrative happening with player agency. ME comes close. When it comes to the feel of world and reactions to player choice and world state, there really isn't anything like it. Xenoblade 3 comes close in that specific regard. If something happens and there's a character that might give a shit, you can talk to them and they'll have something to say. I can't really describe how much this level of detail elevates the games story and characters. DA:I has take this to new levels, I really hope Veilguard continues this Bioware tradition.
