I've been going to Harolds since shortly after it opened. Food has always been great. Sure there are a couple of items that are just OK. Though to be fair, those are not items I would associate with a NY style deli. Stick to the deli classics, and you won't be disappointed. Don't be the guy that orders fish at Peter Luger's. As for the cost, year by year the sandwiches keep getting bigger and bigger, so too the prices. For a long while that was fine. But I feel, like recently the prices increases have outstripped the meat heft. Harolds used to be expensive, but a GREAT value, now, not so much. Still worth a trip when you got those deli cravings and don't mind the splurge.

Though good, Harold's is simply too expensive.

3:45 The name of the restaurant is "Melt." You gave high praise and rave reviews, but I barely caught the name and had to watch three times. SHOUT them out, multiple times if needed, so I can enjoy your favorite spot, too. Thx.

I've never been to Ben's in DC, but I bought a pack of Ben's Chili Bowl The Original Half-Smoke Sausage from Giant supermarket. It was the saltiest sausage/hot dog I've ever eaten. I returned it to the store. That said, I'm still going to hit up the DC spot for the history, nostalgia, and to pay my respects to an institution from the Civil Rights Era through present.

Thanks for showing the menus and prices at all your stops. I always appreciate it. Born and bred in Jersey, but I've never been to Harold's. Just a few weeks ago, I picked up a GREAT pastrami sandwich from Katz's across the bridge in New York. Tourist trap? No doubt! Best thick-cut pastrami sandwich I've ever had? No doubt!

I thought Five Guys had a messier looking burger, albeit less greasy. Five Guys vs Shake Shack? A coin toss; depends on the day, the mood. Both are cost prohibitive, but Five Guys is always higher with no sales or deals. (Shake Shake has specials via their app.) A bag o' fries is always niiiiice, but they are ruined as soon as you close the bag. No limp fries.

A big, boomin' burger from the butcher. Beautiful. More fries. Always.

Nice job. Need to get a crew and go to Harold’s. My favorite Jersey Pie, Papa’s in Robbinsville. Hands down. And The tick tock diner.

I have lived in Spain for eleven years. You need to speak the language to experience the country. Plus Americans eat twice as much as Europeans.

Everything has got more expensive the last couple years but that looks like a good meal for 18 dollars . Raising money for the animal shelter also kicks them up notch, nice review.

True - you can def order a single but the default cheeseburger is 2 patties. That's a good thing in my book!😃
