The Warm Audio DI adds more presence and weight. Very Impressive! I'm almost certain I'm getting one of these bad boys!!!!

Absolutely amazing, I always knew this could be done in Cubase, but didn't think it could be done in Studio One. Thank you so much. You're a star🎙🎶🎶🎶🎶

Latency has little to do with interface latency. RME's USB 2.0 interfaces have lower latency than many usb 3 or TB units.These protocols have different bandwidths, that means data per second, but unrelated to latency

This software version appears to be missing and no longer downloadable anywhere, they have universal control, but it has no mixer and effects...

Cool - but do you find that it makes the mic resonate with the rumbling vibrations? Isn't that why we usually separate mic stands from the resonating sounds source?

I haven't noticed a difference when using stands or this cab grabber. I mostly see these being used on stages to clean up the floor space.

Thanks for this useful video!! Appreciate this info. One question, if there any point to check ? How do we know the units we are buying are already solved? How to cke the serial number?

I am just barely one day learning about S/PDIF and just listening to your recordings without a doubt the S/PDIF has a much louder sound along with being more crisp. With that being said, I was just given a Yamaha MC 32/12 Analog Mixer which I am looking to convert to digital. I want to thank you for a great video and any help you can provide me regarding conversion to digital using a S/PDIF would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I know this is an 8 year-video but it made me decide to connect the second-hand Eleven Rack I've just bought to my Presonus Studio 1810c interface via S/PDIF. Thanks for posting this!

I'm about to buy online a Fr-12 from 12/23 production. Would that be from the previous batches with the hiss problem? Would be safer to buy a 24 production model?

Which serial number is it? Just to know which is the new quiet batch from.

Please provide your serial numbers (mine is CHNC23000476). I just bought today (April 19 2024) in the UK a newly arrived Fender FR-12 which was ordered from factory…. and it has a slight hiss when is turned on (nothing major and unaffected by any knobs, except the tone cut). I tried it in the shop for about an hour and decided to buy it anyway because it sounds amazing!! However, if there is a fix to reduce the background hiss when the speaker is in “stand-by” I would be happier. Thanks

Fender told me today they know how to fix the issue and will provide the parts as soon as they become available to customers who have the hiss issue in their FR-10/12. All you gotta do is email them about it.

UGH! If the problem is solved and I can for sure get a silent one, I will buy one. But $550 for a hissy PA speaker in a cool looking cab is an absolute no go for me and they will get it sent right back.

So can you only clip it to one side of the cabinet? If you are using a 4x12, can you use it for any of the four speaker locations? and does it always align to the center of the cone?
@PressuredSpeechBand
@PressuredSpeechBand Ай бұрын
You can clip it anywhere on your cab. Then adjust the angle you want. We use one of these and a stand and blend the microphones.

Either they've sorted it or there is a big variance between units.

@HomeTracks If the reasoning behind using an external drive for audio is because of the physical writing arm on the magnetic hard drive, does that mean that if using an SSD for the system files and audio, this is not a consideration at all?

I bought a TC M100 and it died exactly one month after the warranty expired. You get what you pay for and that about sums it up. I won't go near a TC Electronics product again.

I just bought the 11r a few months ago for dirt cheap around $60. These things on the market are so cheap and I don't understand why. Either way, I'm probably gonna buy this midi controller because of your video.

FM9 is much better than FM3. But you will spend more, more and more time before found a sound. Fractal is holy craps to built a sound, beleive me. You must have Harvard Degrees knowledges to use it. Fractal = Awfull.
@HomeTracks

true it takes time to learn the fractal platform but its worth it IMO. I spent time watching some great videos on youtube and have been able to create some amazing sounding presets/scenes. like any amp modeler, there is a learning curve. maybe Fractal isn't for you but it certainly IS for me (and many others).

Brand new in Australia is around $250. I bought my 2nd hand of Marketplace because my 88 keys Casio had a damper pedal socket fault so I was just getting zero sustain so whilst I sorted how to get the Casio fixed. I bought this cause I needed to play. It looks great but it's just a toy. The keys have very little resistance so playing hard is just weird and it's not that it's second hand. It's just the way it is. And trying to play with 2 hands, I kept hitting the transpose + button with my 4 and 5 fingers so I practically had to rest those fingers on top of the unit to avoid transposing mid song. It was annoying. I had an Evolution MK449 that I got for $50 second hand about 12 years ago that was a better feel to playing and sold it for the same 10 years later...I wish I kept that. This Roland A49 might be good if you travel and you need to keep playing when it gets boring. It should fit on a normal size luggage pls it weighs very little which is why I might keep it, unless I can sell it and get another cheaper version

I know this is an old thread, but any help is much appreciated. I had on old Ipad 2 that had Modstep app on it and I ran it through Griffin SC 30pin version (MIDI out) to Korg Volca Sample. It worked as a charm and the setup allowed me to combine MIDI, iPad synths and guitar looper. The iPad broke so I bought a used iPad 3 bacause of 30pin. Now the app (Modstep) won't recognise the Griffin SC, which is strange, because the charging is working. Any ideas how to solve this? Do I need to setup iPad to transfer MIDI? Jailbreak iPad? Restart something? Your help is much needed, thank you in advance! Greetings from Slovenia, Jaka
