WR room is weaker but people forget, at one point, the chargers had Deandre Carter, Josh Palmer, and Michael Bandy as receivers and Herbert still put up good numbers.

Austin Ekeler? seriously? dude is great catching passes in the flat, but can't run between the tackles.Edwards and Dobbins are better R B's, but have injury issues. after that, theyhave Spiller and Vidal. They beefed up their O line and tight ends. Greg Roman will run the ball. Ialso expect the defense to be better. Chargers could possibly compete to win the division.

Great show guys. Perhaps the best and most practical analysis I've heard yet regarding the Sens. Less doom and gloom. When you consider that they didn't have that much cap space as well as the fact that most of the bigger names got 6+ year contracts, something they weren't prepared to accommodate, I think they accomplished what they set out to do. They landed a #1 goalie in Ullmark and offloaded Korpisalo's contract. They got some veteran presence in Perron and Jensen. Perron can fill out their top 6 or, if Norris plays any significant time (fingers crossed), help some of their younger players on a third line. Jensen gives them their right shot defensive defenseman with some much needed physicality who can bridge the gap between now and when some of their younger blueliners are ready to step in. Gregor provides them with some speed and physicality and Amadio gives them some depth scoring. Although they can't afford a slow start again, I do hope they manage to give guys like Crookshank and Jarventie a chance to show what they can do. I can't say I'm as exited as I've been in past years but then again, perhaps that's a good thing.

That's sad when you have to skip talking about the draft to talk about free agency to have some type of relevancy of Hope.. 😅 that's WILD.. and Free Agency wasn't really much better .. The Sens are forever losing Good players.. they actually had Alex Debrincat and then from there to replace sound they got Vladimir Tarasenko?!.. and the hype train was on!!.. to now a year later the Red Wings having both of them??! The roster looks better and more balanced right now than it did at the end of last season.. big upgrade in goal for sure, and that's what cost them to lose a lot of games last year.. still would like to see another bottom 6 veteran winger with some speed that can help the PK and a bottom pair RHD that's at least better than Hamonic, hopefully better than JBD.. Sure they didn't get as much as they paid for Chych.. his defensive play last year lowered his trade value a lot, everyone knew they had to trade him.. considering that I think they got a fair value, and filled the next biggest holes on the roster, a top 4 RHD. Dorion should have traded for a guy like Jensen instead of Chychurn to begin with.. biggest difference should be a non DJ Smith training camp to get them ready!

Silva vs Chiasson was actually a good and fun fight until the doctor stoppage. It was better than watching Michelle Waterson getting dogwalked

Also to agree, as a fan of the team that keep Butker under their roof at all costs, kicker is one of the most valuable positions on the team. Most recently the Super Bowl proved that. We coasted on the back of Butker this season and without being able to count on him 100% it could have been very different. If you’re going to draft a QB, I’d say get Bo Nix, let him learn from Kirk for a year then start him. Do it exactly like Andy did with Mahomes. That will help you start a team to win championships.

I’m a Chiefs fan and I admit that the NFL needs Kirk Cousins. He is a breath of fresh air at the position. He is just a great person. He is also always a threat. I honestly think if he has the tools he can make a run. As a Fan, he better be in the booth after he retires.

The reason Detroit was a different team the last 10 games of last season was because they got healthy. Their receivers were banged up the first seven games. Same with their interior offensive line. On defense they got reinforcements after the bye. Romeo okwara and John cominsky came back and added to the pass rush. Along with James Houston. The biggest addition was getting Jerry Jacobs back to solidify the secondary a bit. They went from averaging 32 points a game to 20. That's an improvement from dead last in the league at 32 to 11th in points allowed over that 10 game stretch. The Lions defense wasn't as bad as the stats would lead you to believe.

Detroit is gonna roll this division. They actually started playing defense in the second half of the season last year and completely upgraded their secondary in the offseason. You know the Vikings are not winning all those close games again. The Goffense will be unstoppable this year. Detroit has talent and depth everywhere. Dan Campbell and the staff learned a lot last year and made the necessary changes to go on that incredible run to end the season.

Everyone in our division is heading to the preseason Super Bowl. Packers and Bears played their starters against some backups. Gee how shocking that they were able to throw touchdowns against those backups. 😂
