Where abouts in Western Sydney were the red bellies?

Hey, love your content, I just had a question for ya, what’s the best way of finding snakes, cause I was shocked on how many you’ve seen, I usually go looking for them and I don’t see to many.
@LiamsWildlife19 күн бұрын
@@aussiesnakehunter everyone still has their bad days but once you’ve been doing it for a while you get an idea of where the ideal places are to look. Just keep searching different areas different habitats do a bit of research on the species and where they like to live I still have plenty of days where I don’t find anything also try using iNaturalist to help find the species you are after

I'd say that Brown Snake was between the devil and the deep blue see. If you had not come along one of the Red Bellies would have had that brownie.
@LiamsWildlife1Ай бұрын
@@brucecliffe6213 yeah man that would of been pretty cool to see spewing I kinda disturbed it all but it was my first time ever encountering an interaction between them so I was just to eager to get footage before they disappeared if I ever see anything like it again I’ll make sure to keep the distance

The red bellied black snakes eat brown snakes or any other thing they can get their teeth into I guess. I saw a video of a reb belly eating a brown snake and the browny was biting into the red belley but the red belly would just twitch its sides as much as to say to the brown snake "Is that the best you can do". Red bellies are immune to brown snake venom. We have plenty of red bellied black snakes around here but I have hardly seen any brown snakes on my property. I am not far from Port Macquarie. NSW.

Red Belly, Tiger ,Brown and green tree snakes are abundant all over Mount Druitt, St Mary`s Marsden Park and all the areas Parramatta to Emu Plains Liverpool and Richmond . I am talking in residential areas not just bush land and with summer it pays to be careful and keep the lawns mowed and remove all rubbish .Milk on the ground is well noted for attracting tiger snakes.
