This band have been with me since 83 . Saw them in 85 & 25 years later, both times in Sheffield. Now after 40 years they are with me as things end.

Aw Ade I really miss you buddy! He had such a great voice. He wasn’t just a songwriter and guitarist, his voice had an incredible sense of vulnerability and intimacy. I’ve started to teach myself guitar and to sing after a lifetime of wanting to do music and this is what I’d love to be capable of. It’s interesting how a lot of the songs he chose to cover had lyrics and emotion that really suited him. Adrian was beautifully fragile just as much as he was strong. That frailty is so deeply human to me and it really speaks to me when he sings
