So where was this model made, what country? I've seen it was "made by Philips" or manufactured by Philips Knoxville Tennessee. This doesn't mean they were made in the US though, does is say on your Magnavox "Made in ......."

Those side plastic brackets are for the large shoulder strap. It was black and said Magnavox on it as well. Great radio- I still have mine, this exact one, all working.
