I've seen BHTM several times; the first time in the 90s and more recently last night. This was such a great interview.

Working the Gibson booth at NAMM about 25 years ago I was asked to walk Peter from the convention center to the Gibson Showcase at "Henry's Coffee House" upstairs. So we got to go for a walk together. I was a builder and not A and R so it's a bit of a highlight for me from back in the day. He was super cool.

I love Riks work with Triumph, and his vocals and guitar are top notch. Unfortunately, he kind of fell off the publics eye after leaving Triumph. It may have been best for Riks personal well being, but I don't think it helped his career to throw away the success they achieved with Triumph. Gil never did anything either. They should have stuck it out. They would have went on to become much larger.

what's wrong with that, bob asked john his price but john didn't value himself enough to say how much, so you could imagine bob thinking lets see what he'll do if i pay him that much!

Funny hearing this from 5 years ago with Frank complaining about the prices of guitar pedals at $400.00 and now in 2024-25 he is selling his own pedals for $500.00 each!!

As a long time fan of Flamenco and Spanish classical guitar, and amateur "plunker", I was very interested listening to Kenny's impression of Paco's artistry and Flamenco dancing and singing. I have not yet learned to appreciate Flamenco singing (cante), probably requires being born and raised in the gypsy flamenco culture. The lyrics of the singing are really strange when translated to English. I became hooked on Marty Stuart and Kenny's unique styles, along with Chet Atkins, Vince Gill, Glen Campbell, AKUS, and many others, late in life. Another of my favorite Flamenco/etc., artists is Ben Woods, RIP, passed much too young. Check out Ben's videos.

I had followed FREE from their start and travelled 200kms to see them at the Ice Hall in Munich in 1970. Had an interview with Andy Fraser but my cassette machine with the uinterview got stolen that night! Also played several Free songs on guitar and also played some Bad Company stuff. I moved to Munich 1973. I was at that show in Munich at the Olympia Hall with that amazing double drum solo between Jon Bomham and Simon Kirke. At first I could not believe it, that one of my favourite drummers of all times would play with ZEP on one stage. Simon rocked!!

I ‘met’ Kim in 1989-1990 in small Toronto building that had a room for under 50 audiences where performers would sing in a very intimate setting. Also saw Gord Downie alone sing there. (with his back to the audience, he was so shy!) Can’t remember the name of the building, getting old! Anyone know? In the bowels of this building, me, this 24 yr old female, was wandering around, looking for a washroom to use, & asked the first person I ran into, if he knew where they were, before realizing I had just asked the famous Canadian Kim Mitchell how to get to the washrooms. He very politely helped me out but God, that was embarrassing! 😳🤣

Have a bunch of Chris’s cds and his dvd Axploration. Fender you messed up not giving Chris a signature Strat. He should’ve been more popular but we won’t loss him to mainstream. He has his following. He also was on indigenous’s live at La Zona Rosa. Another overlooked guitarist singer. Mato Nanji.

Work ethic is a learned art form. American has kill this with child labor laws. If children are not allowed to work until they are 18 it’s to late to learn.

Never thought of that, but very true. Between that and parents not wanting to "stress" their children, for sure.
