If you have 3/4 of a brain just screw into the truss’ bottom cord and that will be plenty. Avoid storing bags of cement, buckets of coins, bricks of gold and/or regular bricks and you won’t have any issue. Your plastic tubs will break long before your trusses even realise they’re carrying any weight at all.

Looks neat’n’tidy but can u do this again but fill all the crates with real items like book, cloths, appliances, toys etc. the reality is most ppl’s crates are heavy. These rails won’t hold. Demo that and I’ll b impressed. (And they need to stay closed like that for a long duration so it can’t fall and hit a child accidentally.)

@samthekashman yeah I'm looking at that set up and I'm going to say what, 7-800 lb before it collapses? I mean sure that's a little bit of weight but that's not exactly why it's so slow. It's because they wanted to build it using the least amount of Hardware necessary and to make it appear a lot simpler, it should only cost a little bit more money to add a few extra working parts to not only make it faster but to increase that maximum load. I've seen some commercial setups that were much faster with much higher capacity
