He did well on the 3rd task. Wish he put himself forward again. I would've axed Stephanie over him on task 8 tho.

This was a bad series, I remember listening to a podcast where they had one of the candidates on and they described the selection process as 'Casting' and I remember thinking that in a nutshell is the issue

I like how he tries to pretend that 50% of their target audience liking it is in any way a good result.

Navid is a pharmacist. How can he be trusted to correctly prepare potentially fatal medications (if you get doses wrong) when he cannot make a cocktail with a measuring cylinder and paper & pen?!

It's always a shambles. Ten egotistical narcissists licking Sugar's arse so they can be the centre of attention on TV. I can't believe it's lasted as long as it has and I cannot listen to the theme tune as a classical piece anymore as it's so associated with this shite

The Apprentice has showed us two things: 1) Businessmen and businesswomen are dumb 2) Businessmen are even dumber without the businesswomen to help them

Nah 2023 were worse. At least the ladies worked well together on the first two tasks and the candidates' branding and pitching skills were better.

I would say that 2023 was even worse than this, but upon reflection the 2022 cast edges them out. I think the producers realised how stupid the show was becoming and didn't allow as many characters onto the show. There was no one this year that immediately came off to me as a satirist or character. Either way, this show has become horribly scripted and edited in a manipulative way over the last few years and I think I'm done with it now. Five competent people getting to the semifinals for the first time in a few years was a good ending but I'm starting to find the format of this show unbearable - The manipulative editing to tell a certain narrative is far too obvious to even the most credulous "reality" TV consumer at this point. The purpose of this show stopped being about entering business with Lord Sugar a long time ago - It's now about exposure, building a following on social media and finding contacts. I guarantee that the half of candidates that made it through to the second half of the show have already made tens if not hundreds of thousands off of this show through social media exposure, brand deals, interviews and the attention the show has given their businesses. Even if the business that Lord Sugar chooses to invest it doesn't pan out (which half of them don't), he's still getting paid several times his investment over to keep starring in this show - and the guy is a billionaire, he doesn't care about 250k anyway, it's pocket change to him. Furthermore, I also believe there is somewhat of an agreed narrative that the Lord follows in terms of which business he chooses to invest in on the show; his most successful venture out of the show was with a contestant who finished 3rd in the process, and his second most with a losing finalist. He's been doing this for basically his entire life, he knows which businesses are likely to succeed and which ones aren't. There's a good chance he doesn't 'hire' the most likely to succeed business in the show, because it wouldn't make sense with the narrative that the show has taken in that season, and later drops the winner in favour of the candidate with the better business. To quote many business tycoons over the years from another popular show about entrepreneurship, "For that reason, I'm out."
