USELESS play by Pete Sampras ,at this age of 30 years Federer, Nadal, Dojkovic were far better

Wished Andy kept that kind of killer instinct, playing big points, unloading through his career... idk.. coaches killed it, consistency over natural ability

Pete wasnt the player he was,he was staying near to the line ,he stay more far ,he serve all the time at his Roddick FH and his 2 serve was slow to petes standards, also silly mistakes, roddick played super but pete it was the superior player and his proved to the us open when he trashed him❤

Always found Roddick head straight down at his toes after a loss of point so annoying. He lost confidence in himself after losing to Federer in that wimbledon final. He had all th toold but the head was not there.

I remember when Hewitt used stare down and fiddle with the strings of his racquet when awaiting serve. I always found that annoying.

Roddick had a 2-1 record against Sampras. Had him here and at the Houston clay court finals. Then Sampras destroyed him at the 02 US Open, but Roddick was hurt in that match.

Had Roddick practiced his backhand down the line.. definitely could have won a few more majors. It was literally just cross court as hard as he could 😂 and slice every now and then

@@kazamshah4543 Talent and play caliber wise the early oughts was considered one of the lowest points in tennis, post prime Sampras and pre prime Federer... Meddling players like Roddick, Hewit, Rafter etc all capitalized on the lul before the changing of the gaurd and they never won again once the competition started up with Federer then the big 3 kicked in and only a couple players had a chance to take a slam from the big 3 oligopoly...

@Luchon20082010 players have their day obviously federers situation was different but if you know much about Pete's career he even said he was loosing steam you can tell he was consistently not playing as confident throughout the year and started expressing he didn't have the drive that he used to. So your comment is just demonstrating your short minded ignorance.
