You are the absolute best reviewer on KZbin! Very interesting and right on spot about the songs. The Beatles are absolutely one of the greatest bands of all time. They had more number one songs than any other group by far in the top 100 charts(20 total).

Enjoyed your opinions thoroughly about this great prog group. My 1st album I bought was Ummagumma and I used some of the music in films that I made. Your reviews are awesome. You know your prog music. Congradulations on such a thoughtful analysis!

I guess you were avoiding their live stuff, but I would make an exception for Pictures at an Exhibition since none of the material had been released previously. Usually a live album has live versions of previously recorded studio songs, but this is all new material, just presented live.

Woah, a very cool ranking! Animals is a great #1 pick, it's my second favorite (my fav song on it is definitely Pigs!) and your #2, WYWH, is my favorite. AHM in third place was fun to see - just recently listened to it for the first time ever, even though I've been into PF for twenty years...!! It is indeed a great album. And so is The Wall, my #3, haha. I'll have to check your Yes ranking as well. Keep listening to great music! 👍

Ok, there's no way The Wall is overrated, rather it is one of their four masterpieces, along with Animals, Wish You Were Here, and DSOTM. Also, Umma Gumma is underrated. Other than that, there's no problem with your ranking. 😏

As an added comment, as you are a Tears For Fears fan, I suppose you know there new album comes out in late October??..it's called Songs From A Nervous Planet..now it appears to only have 4 new songs on it, and some live songs as well and then maybe more of their more well known songs as well..I'm not one hundred per cent sure..but I do like the first single(I think it is) called The Girl That I Call Home..check it out if interested and havent heard it yet
@mbmmhp10662 ай бұрын
Ok well..my favorite song from Yes ever is And You And I..don't know if I have ever sat down and ranked a top 10 albums (or more)..I probably should..but my #1 album of the '60's is Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band by the Beatles..from the 1970's my favorite is Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd, and my favorite of the 1980's is a surprise maybe..it's Duke by Genesis..and my #1 album of the 1990's is Strange Free World by Kitchens Of Distinction..
@mbmmhp10662 ай бұрын
you're doing a great job, but one suggestion..slow down!! you are talking so fast, especially when you were naming the songs on the albums..beside that, Woman In Chains is my second favorite song from Tears For Fears, with Everybody Wants To Rule The World number 1..I have only seen them once, back around 2012/2013, and they were wonderful..I was so glad that Curt came back..

I've just listened to a couple of the tracks on Bandcamp and was very impressed. I have ordered both the CD's as the shipping cost seems reasonable, unlike some other US based Bandcamp orders. I will now be downloading the lossless files! Thanks for the recommendation, Christian! Goof stuff.

Due to the fact that I haven’t heard ever album in full, I can’t rank every FM album, but I do know that I really enjoy the run from 1975 to 1987 and I enjoy Bare Trees (so awesome of you that you like it), and Future Games. Bare Trees especially, has some of my all-time favourites (Sentimental Lady and Dust). I’ll attempt to rank those: 7. Future Games 6. Bare Trees 5. Mirage 4. Fleetwood Mac 3. Tango In The Night 2. Tusk *The live album, The Dance would appear here* 1. Rumours (Plus, my favourites member is Christine McVie, RIP 😔).

It’s hard to rank Audioslave albums, but their debut ages like the finest winery. It starts so hard and it keeps punching hard left and right. Hit after hit.
