Nice unit. you've got the chops and a decent voice. Bit of constructive advice. Dial back your vocal and guitar effects by about 30% and it will sound much more authentic. Currently they are much too obvious.

I have two of the ZAD 900s, the natural and the sunburst. Do not leave your guitar plugged in, it will sap the life from the preamp. Also, it's a powerful pre-amp, never put the volume knob past 3/4 to save the battery.

Never turn a truss rod more than about one-eight of a turn at a time. Give it a few minutes to adjust...retune, and rinse/repeat. The huge turns you made are as likely to destroy the truss rod as do what you need it to do

all you have to do is travel to Indonesia. I bought one. The box it came in had Indonesia printed on it. This was a ZAD900CE, the flagship model. And the back and sides were layered, not solid. It appears Zager has sent out a lot of free guitars to KZbinrs. All Zager reviews sound like this is some amazing secret no one knows. Zager has a KZbin channel, though they don't have the balls to call it "Zager Guitars". They called it "Honest Guitar Reviews". Really? "Honest" reviews posted by THE MANUFACTURER? I can't leave a review of my disappointment, buying and returning a Zager, because their site has no provision for buyer reviews. What's that tell you? Why own a guitar you need to explain or justify when you can own a real Martin, Gibson or Taylor for the same money? I have yet to see a professional musician playing a China-built Zager. (Mine came out of the box with high action and a buzzing open B string)

Good review and insight into your setup and application. I have had this looper for many years and I have used it on and off over time ( I have several loop pedals!) What disappointed me most about this pedal is the limited number of drum patterns! You' d think 40 or 100 would be more appropriate for a unit like this! Also a firmware update that would do this? Anyway - great video and some nice playing.

The original pickup design on FB's was a unique crossover between the cruder P90 slugs, and a actual mini humbucker.Side by side, it should be nothing like a mini hb, but a P90 with more low end and less mid push.Until this recent release, they've been replaced with standard pickups. Definitely should look to see if they carried the idea over to the electronics; you frequently see that when modern builders return to vintage spec pickups , they use different pots or caps. How is the weight on this model? They frequently have specs all over the map, and make big changes without correcting the literature.Something to keep in mind when ordering any import, but particularly anything Chinese.

I have the firebird and a 1968 Fender Twin Reverb. On that amp, it is very "mids" forward. Not too much treble or bass - pre-compressed! I can turn my KTR Klon off. It is redundant. With the twin, less bright than a Jazzmaster and less dark than my Les Paul. Just right!

So it can store 2 x 8 x 8 = 128 tracks in total? Can each one of those sub-tracks be assigned the volume to dedicated faders of an external midi controller?
@DestinyisCalling
@DestinyisCalling Жыл бұрын
So it only has 8 channels, that have 8 memory tracks on each channel for a total of 64. The track 2 button is used to add a second instrument/vocal/drum etc. to the existing track. When it is stored/written to the assigned memory track it stores both recorded track 1 and track 2 to the same memory channel track. As far as the midi goes, I do not know the answer to that. I do not use midi with mine. Thanks

Hard and bright, would possibly sound ok with a guitar with mini humbuckers, if you are using an amp that has three ECC83 and two EL34 valves then you will have warm tones that won't raze the ears off of your audience, yes heavy old valve amps but there you are, how do you really want to sound.
