If you're already on SS income, you'll receive your Medicare card in the mail automatically around 3-4 month prior to your 65th birth month. The card and letter do give you the opportunity to return the card. Don't be fooled, that is your card and you should keep it. Also, please remember to cancel your ACA plan through your state exchange, not with the insurance company. If you were receiving a tax subsidy, by law you're no longer eligible due to your eligibility into Medicare. Hope that info helps!
