Awesome playing. But as a comparison resource this may be a bit misleading. The knob positions are different for each bass which means different mixes between pickups and EQ/tone settings. Even the volumes weren't equal. But again, truly awesome playing. The kind of thing that makes you think it's dead easy.

The fact that the Fender Jazz Basses sounded as good as they did demonstrates that a player doesn’t need to spend $5,000 to $10,000 for a boutique instrument to get a great sound.

MTd first, then sadosky then 67 jb. but your fingers and whatever di or amp you makes them all great. MM sounded muffleled in mids. P bass just wasnt in that class of bass.

Wow, It brings it home to me how difficult it is to pick a favorite bass. All of those basses sounded good in their own way. I have 7 really great basses and I can't make up my mind which one I love the most. They all have something special like yours. Most of my basses a J basses, that's what I'm used to and I was surprised how much I liked the MTD and the Music Man
