I am a hobby musician since childhood. For more than a decade, I am always fiddling around with sequencer software, virtual instruments, beat makers, controllers, lots of tweaking, not that much final results. It is mostly about the fun of learning and discovering anyway. I even bought a more simple arranger module and a not top of the line, but ok arranger. Always, the built in styles are first most interesting, but then they become boring… And I do not want to give up my world of creating songs from scratch and all I invested in that, in terms of learning. Once in a while, I am thinking to invest in a top arranger, e.g. like Genos 2, but so far, I am sticking to my computer based setup. And I was always wondering why there were no good virtual arrangers around. I even thought about creating a virtual arranger myself. I regularly was Googling on the topic, but never found something coming close to a hardware real-time arranger, but then… I came across Giglad, watched the KZbins, downloaded it and started experimenting. Amazing how I could use the existing styles that come with it, and get immediate acceptable results. Or tweak the built in ones, using my virtual instrument libraries like Komplete and SampleTank. I was also able to play with some recent Yamaha styles you can find easily on Google, and create a drum map with NI Battery, using drum maps supplied by the originator of the style, and Logic to analyze the original instruments used and selected by program changes. After just some experimenting, the end result was fresh and definitely very nice. I am not as good in mixing yet, and it is sure a skill to be acquired to make the style more polished. It was also easy to program one of my control surfaces (Novation Launchpad mini), to select the individual variations of the style and start/stop. Also made some own styles, and the style editor is amazing! Many DAW like functions built in, but many dedicated for the job of creating styles and their internal variations. This software already does an amazing lot, and has even more potential and hope that others buy it so the company can invest even more in continuous bug fixing to make it super stable (it is already stable enough for use, but it can always be improved, a few crashes I experienced). The tutorials on KZbin are a must, and the available use manual documentation on the website is comprehensive. Thanks to the software team behind this amazing tool we all have been waiting for since years.

Ne razumem cime su tegovi ucvrsceni za tipku da ne ispadnu?Pogotovo me zanima za bele na kojima izgledaju jednostavno polozeni. Koliko vidim na videu, unutar crnih dirki deluju uglavljeno u neku plastiku.

Sorry, not helping any. When pressing 2 to 8 buttons in a row and not explaining what and where you are at, doesn't help. Too fast for me. In your video when the parameter is lit, I can't read it on my 24-inch monitor. Yesterday I spent hours setting up the E-A7 for remote play from a Roland RD-2000, could not find a simple setting to allow the RD-2000 to take over, so had to adjust 30+ MIDI parameters on the E-A7 and zone off the RD-2000 in 5 zones for split and another patch for full keyboard. Thank you for at least making the attempt in the video. Your video on the style creator was a great help! (The RD-2000 made controlling the E-A7 much MUCH easier. I am a pianist, organist and synth player for 57 years, there have been 4 keyboards in that time I could not control, E-A7 is one of them. Medeli AKX-10, Yamaha Pianggero NPV-80, and a 1990s Studiologic 88 weighted piano controller are the others. The E-A7 key width is narrow too, short from front to back and I don't think the weight (resistance) is the same for black keys as white. But the E-A7 plays beautifully with the RD-2000!!

I'd like to use Giglad with my Yamaha Montage7 as a master keyboard. I've seen in this clip that Giglad can be used through Elgato Stream Deck. Is this correct? What's the way for connecting Stream Deck to Giglad directly? Are there some shortkeys that I can use for example to start/stop accompainment or fill in or ending? I've to decide if could be better than a tablet used like a touch screen. Thanks in advance for your answer.

I'm trialing this wonderful program but cannot for the life of me work out how to export my arranged song into .Mid file like I can with every other physical arranger. I want to open it in my DAW and record vocals and other physical instruments. He says in the video there's no need to go from the arranger into the DAW to edit and then go back because the program hosts VSTs but I see a massive need here. There's a bazillion musicians who use arrangers to create prototype MIDI arrangements for importation to DAW for use in real songs. Arrangers are not just for live but it seems Giglad is only for live use at present.

Jesu digitalni mikseri odlični ali ukoliko nemate nekog u bendu ko se baš razume rad sa kompjuterima bolje ne uzimajte i dosta su osetljivi.I popravke su skupe i retko se nađu dobri majstori za njij.Ja imam allen heath zed 10 60 fx i tc helicon voice live sa koga koristim sve efekte koje imaju digitalne miksete .A mikrofoniju nisam imao 16.godina bukvalno unesem mikrofon u zvučnik nema pištsnja.Od efekta sa helicona reverb kratak sa malim dilejom a sa miksete efekat sobe.

Zasto je brass prezentiran sviranjem u oktavi? Neka takav sound bude sviranjem jednim prstom. Svako tko svira arranger i mora odsvirati kompliciranije solaže, ne može to odsvirati oktavom.

I downloaded a copy tonight for mac and i am really impressed. I did not expect this sound quality. I have been using keyboards since the 90's and this works so intuitively for me that i am really considering purchasing a license. Thanks for developing this..... Only disadvantage i see is when in the future you would need a newer laptop to support the latest and greatest....

Hi, Why don’t you create a video that explains and elaborates on Giglad from the beginning? For example, you could cover installing the software, connecting a MIDI keyboard/controller, assigning faders and knobs, loading the required instruments, assigning instruments to tracks, and arranging and playing. I strongly believe such a video would help everyone gain knowledge and encourage them to purchase the software.

Evo čačkam program par sati i što se tiče latencije oduševljen sam, takodje Kontakt radi odlično kao i drugi third party plagini. Koristim M1 MacBook sa 16gb rama. Zanima me: kako se može kontrolisati sa iPhone-a jer ne vidim nigdje na sajtu da ima app, kako riješiti access koji mi stalno traži pa 1000 puta ma šta da uradim u settingsu, da li postoji način drag-drop bilo kog midi fajla. To je za sada što se tiče pitanja. 🙂 hvala unapred

Dear Sirs, I have a Korg Pa4x and a Yamaha Genos which has a good sequencer and so I always use it with the function the CHORD BACKING SEQUENCE because I studied music play Guitar and Bass but I am not a good pianist. I would like to know: Can I connect the Korg Pa4x to Giglad? Can I download a complete style on Giglad from Korg Pa4x? Can I use Giglad to write the chords measure by measure of a chosen song on the downloaded style including Intro Ending variation etc. to make a complete orchestral arrangement ? Just like I do with Genos. When The arrangement is complete can I convert the Midi files into Wav or Mp3 files? If so I will buy at once the Giglad. Thanks to all the people who will help me.

Posjedujem Genos1 i već imam posloženih 800 pjesama u registracijama koje su napravljene od Packova skinutih s Yamahine stranice i od mog vlastitiog Packa, pa me zanima da li se taj set može učitati u YEM da se izradi novi PACK za Genos1 zajedno sa vašim i mojim već postojećim Packovima koji bi onda mogao ubaciti u Genos?

Tried the trial version for the first time yesterday (you *really* need to write in the documentation where it installs itself to, I had to search for an eternity), it does indeed do a lot of things I paid 4 grand for with my Tyros 5. :D And I like that I can use my full VST collection. Definitely gonna buy a license after the trial is over.

When playing a style on this keyboard if you change the chord to one note down the octave changes to +1, is there a way around this? It's really annoying because the songs you play don't play in natural octaves you want them in. I'm aware of manual transpose and octave change, transpose changes the note which I don't want and octave only works for instruments.
