I ordered this die immediately upon the release, but sorry I found your video on using it totally confusing. I think I will figure it out without your video

I'm sorry you feel that way. :( Honestly, there is nothing to figure out about it, it's a cover plate...if you've seen other videos from me, you'll know I prefer doing what I call onlay instead of inlay technique, because I prefer dimensional projects. And in this case it's simply more practical, because the cover plate has lots of pieces that will be cut apart (look at the toucan for instance - all those pieces will fall apart, nothing like a standard cover plate). If you were to glue down what's left of the background piece first, I don't think you'd get a precise shape to fill in the rest with. So my advise was, die cut the panel from the color you want for your background, keep all the pieces together, use double sided adhesive on an A2 panel, glue that to the back of the Toucan panel, and then start gluing the other color pieces on top. Hard to explain, but I'm sure you'll see what I mean when you work with it! Happy crafting! X

Had to look it up but the outside of the watermelon is the skin, then the rind, flesh and seeds..... these are just staples to have...so many sentiments can be added to these and the pears will go nicely with the citrus cover plate from a previous release I like the white dots...

yes...love a good puzzle...and this one is stunning...I love layering panels too, dimension is awesome on a card...your cards all turned out so lovely....and those whirl pools are straight forward so don't worry....

So I always purchase a cheaper white cardstock and use it for anything I am going to inlay/onlay on....i'm assuming for you coloured cardstock is also more expensive? and then just cut the panels with the coloured cardstock and glue onto the white....I also us it to layer up any piece I want to add dimension to, instead of using foam tape...that way the pieces are more sturdy for mailing too.... this set is so cute and colourful...and will be fun to play around with off panel to see what you can create with all the pieces

Zsoka! I love listening to you. You don't blabber at all. I just now noticed (i think you've done this before, but because the speed is on...and i don't mind at all). But right after you put the panel behind the sentiment, you did a little thing with your hands. It was almost like you are getting ready to show us some magic...and you do! The card is beautiful. Also, funny thought, when you put the 2 flowers and sentiment, I thought it looked great too. I'm just wondering how did you put 2 flowers and make it look great...not good, GREAT...you know the odd rule? 🤯 guess it's time to question that "odd"/"rule of 3" thing they say.😂 Great release and you definitely deserve your own enamel dot line! K I had to go check what you mean about my fingers haha! I THINK I know what you mean - I normally edit those out lol! It's when I'm thinking - I don't even notice doing it, only when I edit the video! Sorry about that :D Then the rule of 3s...I think I'm a rebel. When someone tells me something is supposed to be a certain way, I most certainly will not do it that way. My parents used to say I was in a constant "terrible two's" phase :D That said, when it comes to card making, I just do what looks OK to my eye, if that's 2 flowers or 3, doesn't matter. On that note, what I find interesting is, where I come from, we always buy odd number of flowers. On American TV shows I always see even numbers, 10, a dozen, etc...Isn't that interesting?!

I just mean, same old same old. I'm not a pioneer! :D I was very uncertain about the lace! I've been wanting to design some lace dies since I started my company but I just wasn't sure if anyone would like them because maybe they think it's an old fashioned look. I love real lace, I mean fabric, sooo much. I'm glad people love these dies, they are actually the best sellers from this release. <3

@@_apocketfullofhappiness I think you nailed it. I shouldn't say lace isn't my thing, I love lace, but I'm picky (clothes wise)...you know how some lace looks cheap? Yours doesn't look like cheap lace (I hope I'm making sense)...they really are beautiful, and the scalloped edge and having part hanging over. I makes for a beautiful card. I liked the strips too, it looks like ribbon and lace 😍❣

I think all of the cards make sense, and i love all of it. If someone is making a welcome home card for a loved one coming home from the military, they could tie a little yellow ribbon around the tree. XOKO ❣❣❣
