Be Warned! I signed a contract with Milestone at the Crosswinds community in Kyle back in August 2024. Now here in October 2024, and the building permits still are "pending". Their VP of Sales Greg stated that they missed the "fine print" of the community contract where the city had placed a cap on how many houses could be built until a new water tower had been installed and functioning. Because of this, they have NO ETA on when construction can start. They have lied to me, telling me that there's movement, but they forget building permits are public record and one can check the status on them. I have asked for my earnest money back and they are giving me the run around, just stating they will, but its always, "tomorrow", "next week". I still will not get calls from their upper management, such as Fred, who can't pick up the phone, only text. Should have listened to all the KZbin videos and other comments where even Realtors are calling this builder Texas' worst builder.

The people in this community are a** backwards. The neighbors sit home all day and wait until Sat/ Sun a time for quiet to mow their lawn. My other neighbor can stand infront of my house and call me a faggot and shout all this hate propaganda bs and no one comes out and says anything. It's disgusting.

I don't recommend this community or builder. Alot of residents are prejudice and form groups on facebook to spread hateful rhetoric. Goodwin management company for this HOA is terrible. The homes and fencing are built of poor quality and falling apart. This is a place where 30-40 year old couples will get drunk and party and blast music in someones drive way and ride around in golf carts. Where dogs are left in the yard to bark at all hours. Other families have moved away in a short time. I plan to too also.

I'm very disappointed about how Milestone is muscling their way into my neighborhood, trying to wedge in 110 homes at the end an existing neighborhood street. They ask for zoning that is absurd and parasitic. It feels very much like their greedily trying to squeeze every drop of profit out of this small target piece of land, without any real consideration for the millions in home values that they're wrecking for existing family homes that are affected. Milestone! This isn't how you do "community builders" - this is how you bully the community. River Place neighborhood is fighting back, and we're not going to let this company's PNL trump our life and liberty and home ownership.
