Hi mate. It's probably my favourite PES as well. I use Windows 11 and set the game to run in Windows XP service pack 2. If you have a good wired connection, there is virtually no lag 😁

There's no lag with a good connection. PES 4 doesn't have host switching each half. I hosted one match, and fP hosted one match. Wired connection is definitely advised.

two practical tricks you might be interested to try - "super cancel" and "manual pass". "super cancel" could make your First Touch to connect your next move smoother. "manual pass" could get you way more offensive choices and opportunities, which could enhance the gameplay realism variously.

I use super cancel all the time. Manual pass is kinda cool, but it's nowhere near as good as the modern PES games do it.
