Just brought the game myself: and i found two OiL spots on the map which i now farm. they make me $500 a Barrel a full day and night. This is great because while they are working by them selves i can do other things. " ashame about the tyre upgrade that would of been great.

There are signs with maps located around the map off the road. They allow you to save anytime you want. Matter fact, there's one driving down the dirt road to your ranch on the right side. Good luck! Enjoying the playthrough.

You definitely can have fires caused by creature attacks, which can complicate efforts to escape such creatures, of course. I never really use flank speed, but in theory, I could see a possible use case in launching a decoy and then booking it at flank speed and letting the creature busy itself with the decoy. This would mean staying at flank probably a little longer than you did, at least until you have clearly broken out of the creature's lock-on radius, and then popping fire suppression or going back to fight the fire manually. In my experience, tangling with anything big enough to actually jeopardize the Cyclops is highly likely to result in destruction, and the only way I feel comfortable in such encounters is if I have the shield module. Just be aware, the shield module sucks power like you would not believe, so it's critical to get out of range as fast as you reasonably can, and have some spare fully-charged power cells. The Cyclops auto-heals as long as it's above about 80% health. If it gets pushed down through 80% health, you'll start to see hull breaches, and then the only way to recover the Cyclops's health is to hop out and repair the breaches with the repair tool, just like what happened with the Aurora's reactor core. When you have a fire in the engine room like you had, it will start slowly inflicting damage, but if you put it out in time, before any breaches form, the auto-heal will kick in, and it will look like no damage was done.

If you press both W and D and turn the cam 45 degrees, then W and A and turn 45 degrees you can move forward while looking right and left. There are some ores that only occur in certain regions, but other than that at this point other resources are the same throughout the map.

Your health and stamina started at 80 and can get as high as 125. Hover over different foods to see how they raise your stats. The doorway is backwards, turn it around and it will not be a problem.

Altitude makes a huge difference in temperature in this game. At 14:04 there was the sound of a plane crash, if you are playing with hunters off you would want to find it and loot it. With hunters on you are not ready for it.

you're doing well 👍 as long as you have stamina, you can outrun all animals. the higher the level, the longer they will chase you. the plane sometimes crashes but does nothing else. at the crash site you can harvest the wreckage - scrap metal and crates. the door's inside is facing outwards - that's why you have to crouch. flip the door (and all other walls - you might have to replace the BCU) or put another floor piece between door and stairs. use [SHIFT] right/left click to tranfer stuff from or to you inventory. ... and a canteen in the tool belt is a disaster waiting to happen 😄 a fish trap (repair hammer!) will get you fish oil 🖖

As for Lipefod 7, I've always thought it was the most difficult to find. I've beaten the game maybe 30 times and found Lifepod 7 probably 3 times total over the last however many years & hours of gameplay. I didn't think the rewards of finding it were worth the trouble it takes, so I never really cared to learn its location.

You don't want to make cloth from cotton, cotton is far more valuable for making padded cloth. For watering planters either dirty or boiled water is fine, dirty water adds 22%, boiled water adds 36%. Rain will fill a planter completely if it rains long enough and it usually does. It just takes more than an instant. You figured out the temperature thing, what shows on screen is the temp where you are, not what it feels like to you. So depending on what you are wearing you need to know your cold or heat tolerance. Keep in mind being wet lowers your "feels like" temp by 4 degrees.

The problem with getting in the door when coming up the stairs, I would turn the doorway around. You have it placed backwards, in most homes I have been in the baseboard is on the inside of the wall, not on the outside. I've never had this problem, and I've never seen anyone have this problem, but I have also never seen anyone place the walls backwards. You can't move a BCU, but you can destroy it and place a new one. That of course costs you any power or mass that are in the BCU, but if you destroy it after making a planter, or anything else the cost is virtually nothing. I mentioned when you started that you needed to reset the days in the year. If you don't winter will be upon you and you will not be prepared. The game shows 24 day year as the default at the start screen. It should not! That is a mistake that should be changed. It let you believe you should do that, but you have to change that setting. When you load into the game, you can change the month, the days in a year, and any hunter settings. I suggest you set days in the year to at least 90 days or more, and set the month back to maybe June or something like that. You will need better gear than you have or will get at a 24 day year to survive the coming winter. The rut is mid September to mid October, The moose aren't extremely aggressive, but just steer clear of them and you should be fine. But yeh, the moose is a better swimmer than you are, he he... I don't remember if I have mentioned this before, but, the 9mm does 18 hp of damage, the bow does 35, the rifle does 49, the shotgun shoots 20 pellets that each do 6 damage, so at really short range it can do 120 damage, but if you try to use it at any range you lose damage really fast. That large rock you found, it has a name in the community, it is called ortastic. It is the most prolific producer of ore in the game. Visit it often and even a few minutes after you have been there.

I have no idea why this is in 360p only. I have been trying to correct it or find out why it is such a low resolution. Does it render to anyone else at higher than 360?

The Cyclops docking bay repair module does not consume power for repairs, just so you know. In my experience, it's not especially useful, but it can be convenient to just dock and have your vehicle repaired, rather than having to hop out and repair it, and with so many upgrade module slots for the Cyclops, you can afford some low-priority upgrades. I still carry a repair tool around with me, because of the risk of picking up too much damage to safely make it back to the Cyclops, and the convenience of being able to just repair where I am and keep doing what I was doing.

I'm not 100% sure about multiplayer limits, but on a locally hosted game you can have up to 10. On a server I know you can have at least 32. You were having trouble snapping the wall pieces because you were holding them so that the bottom of the wall was to low to match the foundation piece, you'll get the hang of it. With the baseboards facing outwards you will see a small crack at the floor and corners, if that bugs you then turn them around. You can stack pretty much anything if you want to, just pick up a foundation piece, place it at the height you want to stack something, then stack on it, then return the foundation to its original spot.

Don’t forget to increase your companions medic perks, so they have more wounded then deaths. Having recovering tier 5 troops is better then dead ones

I do remember when I first played the game. I had an idea what I was doing from watching some videos that got me interested in the game. But still I had struggles. One thing I said before is hunt and gather during the day, fish at night. This helps you have plenty of protein so you can keep the meter topped up during the day. If some of the meat rots, that's OK, rotten meat has uses. But also you need the fish oil you get from fishing. The day cycle is 36 minutes, day 30 minutes, night is 6, so no, I don't use a timer to gauge 18 minutes, but you get a feel for it. The directional sound does leave a bit to be desired (I find planes by looking at the map), in the last update while trying to fix an issue where water sounds were often too loud if your base was by the water (very successful) it seems to have broken the water sounds when outside. As Chris Hunt once said "fixing bugs is not hard, but fixing all the things the bug fix broke can be hard". Plants in a plant bed don't have to be picked, they don't go bad. One thing you can do is pick a tomato plant, eat one, turn the other to seed and replant it. You will never be rescued, your are here to survive and then thrive. Your BCU makes .33 power per second, the fridge takes .20 and from two efficiency upgrades that can be brought down to .115, so you have the power you need now. But there are a few steps you need to do before making the fridge. If your protein and veg meters are kept near full you have practically unlimited stamina. You can run 1500 meters away from your base and back in a day. There are reasons you may want an outpost, but you can do a lot without them. You and I both love Kenshi, and it has some serious jank, but it is OK because we love the game. That is the way I feel about this game.
