had mine removed a couple days ago it’s been a rough recovery but it’s almost done 4 days in. Watching this helps me appreciate and understand what was done and how my body has overcome it in just 4 days time! Super interesting stuff. Gosh the stitches feel so weird though… can’t say i’ll miss those lol

okay oh my gosh when he cut my heart dropped😭 i have a shark dissection tomorrow in marine bio so i’m now only going to be thinking about how my gums were quite literally cut up the exact same way i’m doing to this poor shark, though he/she was born for dissection

i’m actually so glad i was fully sedated this was my first surgery and i would absolutely not have been able to handle it on local… such a brave patient in the video

Had spherocytosis and was misdiagnosed at 6. Responded to penicillin advertly developing gal stones. They performed the first laparoscopic spleenectomy w a gal bladderectemy as well. The hospital recorded and asked my.parents permission to use it to train future doctors.

I have 4 wisdom teeth and all 4 have came in 3 are impacted it's literally coming in through my gum and cheek my cheek on the inside of my mouth is cut. Plus i have gum disease on top of that

I've worked in dental for 15 years and I couldn't imagine not using gloves. I started in prosthodontics..I couldn't stick my bare fingers in a patients mouth for impressions or adjusting dentures😂😂
