This worked great with my Honda 2600 psi Pressure washer kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP , it came with two different size adapters, and tread tape so you're ready to go. I used it on my sidewalk that was getting dark and it worked great with no sprayer streaks. Just back and forth, really easy and way better than the spray adapters that came with my Pressure washer.

Great video. Several videos on KZbin on this subject but this is the only one have seen which dealt in detail with replacing the lens to fixture gasket--essential for keeping moisture out. Most just use the old gasket which is a big mistake. Video explained everything in great detail. THANKS!!!

That's a crock of shiZ. Mine has one hole and one ear that points towards the power steering pump and there's no way to get a breaker bar and your full of it it's not a 3/8 it's a 1/2"! Btw it a hella lot closer to the frame on the 3.8L

Shawn, who was the manufacturer of the tensioner pulley you bought with the breaker bar slot on it? I know you may not remember since it's such an old video.

Are both Idler and Tensioner pulleys the same? Or is the Tensioner pulley sold as an assembly together with the tensioner? Where did you get them from?

I may have installed alternator wrong. I replaced both idler and tensioner pulleys. I may have the belt routed wrong. I may have put tensioner on upside down? Anyways i have the new belt routed, but have 2 inches of play after I tighten tensioner? Any suggestions?

Thanks so much. Most clear step-by-step instructions. The taping of the screws and the paper carton template for the alternator screws are excellent ways to secure and identify them for re-installation. Please do more DIYs!

Thanks for sharing, I found this useful in my problem. I replaced just the idler, it did the trick on the wretched noises my van had. Belt pops off when ever it gets wet. Windshield wiper spray jet tubing snapped in transit, belt came off. Idler is just one bolt away from done at that point. Now it is quiet and pleasant. Bet that belt still pops off easy though. Anyone know the difference between 90mm and 76.2mm size idler pulleys? Both are stated as fitting my vehicle, which I found odd.

Hello, thank you very much for this Video. Quick one! how do you activate the headlight washer? I pulled on the screen washer fluid 5 times, but it doesn't activate the headlight washer pump still. I independently tested the pump and confirmed it working. Thanks again

Great video! I searched to find someone with the washer jets. I was trying to remove mine like you said but they gave me hell. I then figured out that you don't have to remove them at all. Just release the clips of the face plate thing and slide the whole bit forward. There is enough clearance for the lights to come out after you do that. Naturally I had already broken the cover by then.

The bad thing about the e46 is like most late model BMW's, stuff breaks that will seem foreign to you if you've owed a Honda or Toyota. Having owned Acura's at the same time as BMW, it's a striking contrast of how much attention these cars need. BMW's main magic trick has been to turn rubber seals and gaskets into brittle plastic in a relatively short time compared to the Japanese. I sure hope they don't make condoms under another name. The good thing is that there is plenty of good how to videos on KZbin like this. Thanks.

I installed the tensioner pulley upside down and could not get the proper tension, did not realize it was a pin to match it with the hole, no wonder my tensioner did not spring after installed, now i got it right and working as it should saving me some money, Thanks for your video

We'll I got everything back together using the old gaskets. Went together without much effort but it is a snug fit and you need to snap the upper tabs in first. Check the black seals that fit on top of the headlight bucket and if there are any tears you can patch with silicone. Also check the weather strip on the red trim piece that goes on the bottom of the headlight. If it is loose then re-attach with silicone. Also, there is the headlight type (ZKW or Marrelli) designation on the top of the headlight assembly. Finally, DO NOT use pliers. I tried this and did snap off a piece of the lens on the edge. I attached it with JB and sanded smooth. The solid gaskets will not fit if you have the hollow gaskets originally. Good Luck!

Good video for the procedure but the gaskets for the new lenses are too thick to allow the new lens to snap into place. I got them from the Dealer and there is only one part number. The old gaskets are hollow; the new ones are solid and about half again as thick. I took them to a body shop and the manager said you will likely crack the lens if you force it into place. So, I am going to trim the new gaskets to see if I can get them to work. if not I will use the old ones and seal them in the head light buckets with windshield sealant. I'll keep you posted.

Great instructions, good movie with lights and all. Made the job quite easy. The square hole in the tensioner is not 3/8 but 1/2 inch. You cannot get a ratchet in there though because of the frame so I used one of the irons that are used to lower the spare wheel. I got he parts from Autozone, don't buy the kit - it is 139 USD, I got the separate parts with the tensioner/pulley the other pulley and the serpentine belt for 76 USD. Thanks to the guy at Autozone. Thanks a lot for posting this film!!

Thanks for the video! I appreciate the detail put into the video!! Will be usig this week sometime. I did have a question in regards to using gasket maker...not sure if someone may have already asked. Can you use a thin bead of gasket makder with that actual gasket to ensure all is well? A thin bead on the cover before seating the gasket on it, and then a thin bead on the engine head...your thoughts? I understand that the gasket works based on pressure, but by adding gasket maker can I improve the quality of the seal? I just want to try and account for any imperfections on the surface fo the head and cover. Thanks in advanceMike
