Happy New Year 2025. Thank God for this programme. I am learning piano accompaniment. This truly resonates with me. I love to worship alone and with other believers. During the Covid-19 lockdown, I shared this aspect of our faith with other believers. I said the Enemy wanted to rob the church of the anointing in meeting believers face-to-face, whether worshiping our Lord together, or sharing our testimonies, breaking bread, evangelising, encouraging one another, or "doing church". Believers started to pray via audio calls / zoom etc, but it was not the same. There is a place for zoom / audio calls. It's better than nothing. But we are not meant to NOT meet face-to-face. How do we really share / care for one another, do "life together"; share physical and spiritual blessings such as food / clothing, convey our awareness and love properly, etc in that isolation? Of course we read about Paul the Aposle learning from the Lord Christ alone for about 2 years in Arabia, and John the Evangelist on the Isle of Patmos in the final book of the Bible (Revelation), but those are special cases - exceptions, not the rule. If we are ever truly forced to be alone, the Lord Christ will strengthen us, Amen. In everyday living though, we need that interaction fellowship, where the Holy Spirit's presence and the presence of our Living Saviour Christ Jesus come down and nourish and anoint us all and rekindle our love for God and one another - whether two, three or more are GATHERED TOGETHER in the name of Christ Jesus. Whatever challenges come in 2025, may we cintinue to worship TOGETHER, Amen, Hallelujah! God is good! Shalom!
