This was a nice surprise to see two of my favourite gorillas. I didn't realise how much I missed Monta & Rola. Any changes big or small is welcome. They deserve to have little treats. I was visiting Monta and Rola every two days even while I wasn't streaming youtube. From time to time, I update other SNS (x;former twitter; my account name is fukuchanyoga Or instagram; my account name is lauramontawithrie). KZbin will be updated every month or two. In mid-January, I will visit the gorillas at the Taipei Zoo. (De'jeeco family) I think I have met Monta and Rola the most times in a year among youtubers in Japan.Thank you for watching and happy new year ☺️💕

モンタ君は、夏頃に体重減少が有ったのですね。ゴリラさんは、ストレスに弱いのですぐに食欲不振になってしまいますからね。飼育員さんが、ちゃんと食事の管理をしてくれたので良かったです🤗新年に、明るい動画が観られので嬉しかったです😉ありがとうございました🙇

たまに千葉動物園の動画撮影をした場合、確かに撮影したその瞬間のものは真実なのですが、なぜそうなったのか？その前後はどうだったのか？1年前はどうだったのか？そしてどんな対応がなされたのか？を追っていくことも重要だと思っています😊ご視聴いただきありがとうございます！

Rola ‘a dry hands are getting better and the zookeeper is taking care of them but feet’s are difficult to do because she refuses to be cared… I also like the scene where Monta rests his chin on it.☺️ Rola and Monta are so precious☺️Thank you for watching!

Previously at Taipei Zoo, silverback BaoBao (currently in the Netherlands) was born in the wild and lived alone for over 30 years, but now lives with his partners and his child. So I believe Monta will have his partner! Thank you for watching!

I love these 2 it make’s me cry they don’t have any other gorillas just them by themselves… I hope they can get them some other gorillas 🦍 so they are not all alone,, put another silverback in with my handsome and sweet Monta please !! And please put a female gorilla in with Rola these 2 need gorillas to be truly happy… Great video 🎉🎉🎉🎉

甘いものも、不安や緊張を緩和する効果があるようで、ローラにとって氷砂糖はリラックス効果があったようです🤭ローラのちょっとした仕草や立ち振る舞いも可愛いところがいっぱいで、私はローラが足を上げて寝ている姿が好きです☺️ご視聴くださりありがとうございました。

First, thank you very much for your comment! 1)As you know making KZbin videos takes time and needs initial cost(a Channel with less than 1000 subscribers can not get money from youtube). 2)When gorillas live alone, they move less than gorillas who live in groups.3)I often see comments saying that Rola and Monta are pitiful and lonely.I think that's a comment made to the zoo, But it hurts to see that the video owner is being blamed. I think these are the reasons why no other KZbinrs feature Rola and Monta's videos. But, Still I want to tell the world that they are alive Thank you for your comment and I am happy to read your comment😊 Have a nice day and thank you for watching!

Eu fico muito triste de ver o Monta e a Rola sozinhos já a bastante tempo, na família Haoko tem duas lindas gorilas, Komomo de 13 anos e Momoka de 10 anos, Monta pode ser o Companheiro de uma delas, o Zoo precisa ter boa vontade para ajudar esses gorilas.

Eu não consigo assistir o vídeo do Monta e da Rola sem chorar, eu não me conformo com a crueldade do ser humano, eles são animais sociáveis, não solitários, ele formam famílias, tropas, e colocaram os dois sozinhos, sentenciaram , puniram, eles estão no cativeiro solitário, vejo solidão e tristeza, Rola emagreceu, Monta podia estar com uma fêmea e filhos, esta sendo punidopor ser inocente, um animal magnífico em um pessimo Zoo, eu desejo que obrespobsavel pelo Monta tenha o mesmo destino do Monta, a solidão.

They go outside at least once a day, even on cold days. Because the zookeeper cleans their rooms. They eat breakfast while cleaning to refresh themselves. I think gorillas are the same as humans who want to breathe in the fresh air even when it's cold. Gorillas are good at hot weather but not cold. 🦍are relaxing when their legs are up☺️ Thank you for watching!

I was thinking she might be regaining some of her weight loss. It is good she is getting more to eat for the winter. She has really lost weight. Nice to see some enrichment, too! Her cold in her eye is gone now too. Be healthy, Rola! 🌸🙏🏻 Did Monta ever look like Momoko in some shots today! Not a doubt they are brother and sister. It is a good thing their pairing was not a romantic success. Thank you for the nice video. 💗

But it is true that they are alone.I hope they will have their partners. A video telling that they are alone now may also help them find a partner of their own in the future.☺️ One advantage of being alone is that a gorilla can have all the meals to himself or herself. In a troop, the stronger gorillas will take over meals. In the troop at Ueno Zoo, an weaker gorilla may lose weight.Anyway, thank you for your comment and have a nice day☺️

I also think Rola lost her weight ( or looks like) but some possible reasons are follows. 1) 1) Rola ‘s appetite has decreased due to the intense heat summer this year. For this reason, zookeepers frequently feed gorillas hay cubes, which are highly nutritious. The zookeeper continues to do so even now. 2)During the transition from summer coat to winter coat of gorillas the hair appears to be thinner temporarily. During the hair growth period, her body burns more calories than usual. It seems like the zookeepers provide foods for gorillas more than usual now. So I will watch them carefully and wait and see. Here is Japan. ☺️ Japan has four seasons in a year, but in the past few years the summers have been so hot that it feels like a subtropical region. On rainy days, it seems to provide water the trees and soil and purify various things.I also love rainy days☺️ Thank you for watching!

Hi Rie, I have missed your videos, I will also miss Monta in his pool.He looks good & Rola looks like she has lost weight. The keeper's know about her dry skin & I hope they do something about it. Momoko is looking well & things are quiet for now. The fact that you can go to both zoo's is exciting. Look forward to the next video. Rola didn't touch her hands and feet much yesterday. As you say, the keeper was aware of her dry skin condition. I hope she is being cared for in some way. It’s so cute how Monta puts all the hay cubes in his mouth while collecting them. Then spits them out into his hand to enjoy eating them one at a time.

Thank you for going out in the rain to visit Monta and Rola. Monta was on edge. But you can tell he knows you and cares about you by the way he keeps looking up at you. Hoping all humans and animals weather the coming typhoon

It was nice to see the Haoko troop more chilled than it has been lately, Haoko has been moody & unpredictable.😅. Good to see Monta & Rola again.🙋 How long does it take to get from one zoo to the other? Thank you for sharing Rie.🌟

It takes about 1h30min from Chiba and Ueno by train. I can watch both Monta, Rola and Hatoko troop then more satisfying gorilla watching for me. Thank you for watching!

Haoko doesn't like the second enclosure. This is because it is narrow and customers can look down on the gorillas from above. Haoko appears calm in the first enclosure because it is wider than the second enclosure and the perspective is the same for gorillas and humans. It seems so to me. Just my guessing…

Monta is Smart, lol! I wish the keepers would show all the gorillas how to do things like play in a plastic pool, play with a ball with each other and pets like puppies and deer. It would give them more stimulation. There would be less disagreement and boredom.😮❤
