Just so everyone knows. U can install these headlight in 5 mins as long as you are goid with the 2 outer lights on only when lights are on and all 4 activating when hibeams are on just as factory has them. He is wiring for all 4 to activate or work as the outer do all the time. Also halo is totally separate install than lights. I just plugged mine in with the harnesses provided and they are an upgrade. I personally didn't activate the halo, maybe later but all this wasn't worth it personally. Good info to have it you want it though and much thanks for the video.

This is true. My decision was to utilize all the features of all the new LED headlights except for the turn signal on the inner set. Thanks for pointing this out to help with simpler installs.

Do the headlights turn off with the turn signal on to see it better? Id like to use these on a rare golf cart that the body is no longer available on. Would like to make it as legal as possible without drilling extra holes in the body

im pretty sure you can skip the resisters if you get an electronic flasher, not positive though..

I replaced the turn signals all around the car long ago to LED and yes, I needed to get an electronic flasher so they would work at all. The resistors act in a similar way as the electronic flasher but it's to allow the headlights to work properly as LEDs.

I just checked. Yes they do. But the key has to be on for the turn signals to work. The headlights come on with the key off though.

Blue lights look cool and trippie, But........ They are the worst possible colour for instrument lights. Our eyes react to light, after a while we can see better at night due to the way the cones and rods work within our eyes. However Blue light counteracts this proses so we don’t gain our night vision. Maybe around town there o.k. Since there is a lot of light around and we don’t gain our night vision properly But on the highway, when our eyes react to the darkness (which they won’t with blue) we need either a dim red/reddish or green light to help our night vision.

True, I read that cops use red in their vehicles for that purpose. Everything inside of my truck is red too. I have two hot system gauges, they're identical to the max tow in the vid except it changes color. The dumb thing...only the numbers for the needle change, not the digital readout which is stuck at BLUEEE! It's so fricken bright at night it's making me want to just get rid of them and get some different ones. Personally like the looks of a needle gauge but I also want the ease of looking at a big number at quick glance lol. Nobody else offers this except max tow but of course they dont sell any gauges in red. Was thinking of just getting glowshifts new gauges where they only have big numbers on the screen........ But yeah idk how tf people do cluster swaps and change all the lights to blue. Like at Christmas time when people hang dark blue lights up...at night just looking at them driving by, my eyes bleed.

Avoid to buy anything from Amazon, they sell chinese products at 3 times the price ! I bought the exact headlights from Aliexpress for 38$ /pair. Even ebay sold them cheaper than Amazon !

What’s the part number for the led daylight running light/bulb? Did you need a resistor for it as well?

I don't remember the part number as I purchased it years ago. Look up Sylvania Bulb guide and you can easily figure out the part number. Also, if you change any turn signal to LED in the car you will need a new LED rated flasher relay for under the dash.

Max Tow gauges only works for trucks or it will also works on any type of car?

I ended up putting two max tow gauges in my car along with a standard Glowshift one. It's just a name for the gauge and the max tow series means it has a digital read out too.

Yes, they are definitely bright enough. Here is my GoPro video that I realized is terrible at showing the lighting. But it's worth the upgrade. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mV7VZJaol7VroLc
