I had the thread release done and I am unfortunately feeling worse on both hands. Many investigations done before the procedures to exclude alternative diagnosis. I seem to have post procedure swelling in the hands and the wrists that still persists, it’s come down considerably but been static for a week now. Moreover, beneath the skin where the needle went it feels like a hard string from the point of entry to the point of exit. How long do your patients usually experience swelling for? Is the hard string ever going to feel fleshy and doughy again? I am hoping once the swelling is gone I’ll start feeling better but it’s almost 4 weeks and barely any changes for about a week now. Unlucky or just need to be patient?

My doctor said it was a sprain to wait 6 weeks. Never healed. When to see why. Found out it’s broken. He told me put on a splint, came back, another doctor told me to move it sometimes. It broke again… when back recently n told me I’d have to wait a month for the mri. Called me that night n said I need surgery. I don’t think these ppl have a clue about what’s wrong with my fingers. They are still swollen n broken. I don’t know what to do. I’m scared for my hands.

I have been told I need ankle replacements. My right ankle is the worst to the point that it’s almost impossible to walk on. I have arthritis in all my joints. I’ve had shoulder surgery, 2 knee replacements and 2 hip replacements. I do work. How long will I be layed up and to go work can I use crutches or a knee walker? I’m 78 years old but not the average. I had both knees done at the same time. The xrays show bone on bone gut my ankle bone is starting to slip to the side

I fractured my calcaneus 5 years ago , had a standard surgery with an "L" shaped scar , metal plate 7 screws , still have constant pain, can't run. My wife was 6 months pregnant with our second child when the fracture happened working hvac in LA and sent us on a whirlwind journey of recovery/childbearing . it's a real deal trial suffering to walk and do things "normal" people can do when the disability cannot be seen by most. Life is hard so love hard and regard all with respect you never know what someone is going through.

I had cataract surgery in 2018 and now experience some cloudiness and suspect I will need to have YAG. My two questions are, does the laser penetrate / go through the lens implant and how is the length of the laser controlled? I'm concerned that the laser will exit the back of the capsule.

I have to say how disgusting it is to hear that the physicians of America have allowed themselves to be manipulated and controlled by profit greedy PHARMACEUTICAL companies. But this does confirm why American healthcare is such a failure. The medical-pharmaceutical-insurance industrial complex controls doctors, hospitals and politicians. My biggest reluctance is that I don't think I'd be able to live with the humiliation. Everyone says "they put you to sleep". That doesn't help me any because I will know before and after that my butthole was exposed to a room full of people. I will know that someone saw at my butthole AND shoved a long cord into it. The other fear is being put to sleep. What if I am allergic to the sleep medicine and die? I think the only way I could get it done would be to have someone bet me a substantial amount of money to do it but, that probably won't happen.

I believe I had the same surgery and the same injury 4 years later I have pain bad somedays. but all together I have a lot of good days too. I'm able to golf still and work full-time and live a full life

I place a bandaid at the side of my eye...squeezing the skin a bit. Doing this, the double vision goes away.. Can Botax solve this? .. Not for vanity to look better, instead, to see better.
