ROGD has been roundly discredited. Lisa Littman conducted a study of transphobic parents on facebook. Not a legitimate academic.

The material fact is that trans women are more unequal to men materially than cis women.

She's interested in materiality but never once considers the material reality of trans women. She doesn't consider that the overlapping material conditions of cis and trans women may lead to similar psychological profiles.

Why does the speaker say"medical co.plications" so fast and in the morning middle of sentences? Why don't you as a doctor elaborate on the medical problems you seem to go on about the unimportant bull....i am not happy about this video i feel you are misrepresenting the same and why these people are not satisfied with the mutilation on healthy young vibrant humans frank insteinmaker...stay away from children

21:00 Is it that the meaning scrambler violates free speech? In the first case, the voice scrambler, it is the case that the speakers speech is being altered and their freedom to speak freely is impeded. In the second case, the meaning scrambler, the speech is technically happening freely, it is merely not being understood. So its the listeners right to listen thats being messed with not the speakers right to speak. But I suppose if there was a situation where someone held a speaking event and hearers were prevented from going, and thus from hearing and understanding the speakers ideas, then it would be an affront to both the speakers freedom of speech and the listeners freedom of movement/assembly. So I guess the freedom of speech then is actually better understood as the freedom to communicate which entails both speaking and hearing and so it is preserved by preserving the right to speak and not interfering with the right to hear. I suppose thats a good understanding of Mary Leng's ideas.

I would love to see a study which adresses the co prevalence of other personality disorders with "trans" like histrionic pd or borderline. In which I would wonder if "trans" was just a way for the attention seeking parts of the named pds. Also the autistic "trans" people. I'm wondering if those would have the same "gender disphoria" if they were the actual other sex. Like as if it is just a sign of them not grasping the whole sex/identity stuff - just feeling different/misfit - therefore... trans. Also as a biological female I'm often appaled by the representation of womanhood by trans women. As if womanhood was defined by how much you like make-up, nail polish and high heels. It is often a pretty male approach to womanhood.

Having both sex and gender ID on the census would actually be really helpful for gathering info about trans numbers in the UK. Knowing the real numbers could help for funding, etc. It just makes sense to gather both stats.

It is nonsense. There is no such thing as gender outside a book of grammar. Anyone who believes they are in the wrong body is psychologically unwell and needs psychological help. A man who wants to impersonate a woman cosmetically, with long hair, a lot of make-up, nail varnish, female clothes, etc may do so, as long as he is not claiming to be a woman, eg if he has committed rape and expects to be placed in a woman's prison, or insists on walking around naked as an intact fully grown male in female changing areas. Or, indeed, threatens or perpetrates violence towards Terfs.

I appreciate the conversations. I don't see why we are transforming the word gender to encompass all of our characteristics and personality traits. I think it's become an over-complication of the concept of gender that has become so loaded that people have become tribal, use it as a political weapon, or to get away with mal intentions. I like the direction we were taking in the 80s and 90s, when we preached a woman didn't have to exist in any box, and a man didn't have to exist in any box. Now people are using gender to create thousands of new boxes.

Touch rugby? TOUCH RUGBY?! That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. That’s not rugby. Anyone who has been through male puberty has a huge advantage in most sports. That’s unfair. But the inclusion of male-bodied athletes in contact sport is just plain dangerous.

I have spent the last two months studying this issue in depth, because one of my sons is strongly in favor of the gender ideology - although, thank heavens, he doesn’t imagine himself to be a woman. I have tried to understand and to be sympathetic to transgender people, but the illogical and contradictory statements of the gender ideologues has moved me to despair. I think the gender ideology is a retrogressive movement which holds gender stereotypes as important.

So does the research network have a research agenda or program?, or is it secret - to enable one to actually research. As I see it you should research these myths: - transwomen are "women" - people have gendered souls - gender critical debate "endangers" students - there's more than two genders - gender self-identification is a thing when applied to contra-sex genders - we are assigned gender at birth <- I suspect that unless one critially looks at these myths you are just going to dance around, or stab yourself in the back, without moving forward. BTW: "patriarchy"! <- oh really! How exactly are trannies patriarchs? More like anti-patriarchs. BTW: "sex bodies" <- If you are going to speak gender babble you're already lost.

She hates straights... interesting. Someone I know claimed they wanted to switch genders, be referred to as a masculine name. Idk if she hated straights but she seemed to identify more with her non-White side (she's White appearing) than her White side. I assume it's all just sort of left wing identity politics and resentment.

I am shocked (but not surprised) that in the slide "Reasons for Transition" only 62% and 71% said the reason was to alleviate gender dysphoria. That number should be 100%. So many of these other reasons are nonsense and are NOT a reason to transition. To me, this slide just goes to show that kids are not capable of making a decision like this. And even if they transition when they are over 18...once they start on puberty blockers and hormones, there's almost no turning back.

The data shows that if a kid is allowed to socially transition, they are very likely to do puberty blockers, if they do puberty blockers, they almost always go for the surgery.

Even for the majority of those children experiencing gender dysphoria, these medical interventions have no evidence of relieving their dysphoria long term. If watchful waiting is used while patients are receiving therapy for comorbid mental health, developmental delay and or trauma, as much as 98% will find their gender dysphoria resolves at the resolution of puberty.

I cannot see Cathy's point on option 4. Cathy spends a huge amount of time arguing how sport is asymmetric then says she doesn't like option 4 because it is "asymmetric". In my view option 4 reflects the reality of sport, just as having an open age category alongside under 18s and over 40s categories (we don't have an exclusive 18-40 category). Lastly I would say that Cathy (who I side with on a lot of this) makes the point that women must decide how the women's category is formulated. The corollary of this is surely that it is for men to decide whether to turn our category into an open category, not for Cathy and her fellow women, yet Cathy seems to talk about it as if changes to the men's category purely in terms of women and women's interests. I find that all a bit odd, if I am honest.

Here you are, laughing at those that supposedly dont know what Gender is. Here you are, totally cluelesss. Have you ever gotten the spine to actually ask a Scientist or Biologist about Gender? Or did you just assume it's so simple that you dont have to learn anything (oh how convenient) despite LIBARYS being FILLED with the results of gender-studys cause it's all so complex, in fact. Ever tried to inform yourself? Maybe by watching 'Sex-and-Sensibility' by 'Forrest Valkai'?
