I love the show Reign, but the only thing that bothered me is that the creators destroyed every relationship that had potential. For example : Lord Narcisse and Lola - why couldn't he change into a better person, and why didn't she leave with him when she had the chance? instead, she returned to Elisabeth, who had executed her. Then there was Greer and Leith. He developed into a soldier in order to have a higher position, but she despised him and preferred to marry a rich and old man, with whom she broke up anyway. Next, Kenna and Bash-oh, it was such a gorgeous couple that I said to myself: Finally! these two will definitely have a happy ending... it didn't happen because Kenna became a complete b**ch ,that cheated on Bash 🤦Well, and finally Mary. At first it was,, a promising starting relationship,, with Bash, which ended as quickly as it started, but again ,I thought: Her fateful love is Francis after all, ok. Later it went wrong again when Mary cheated on the dying Francis with Conde. I still felt sorry for her when Francis died, so I hoped things would work out with Gideon. It didn't happen... But she made the biggest mistake in her life by marrying that unsympathetic and mad Darnley( marriage that cost her her life)And I'm not talking about sexy, charming, mysterious "loyal watchman,, Bothwell, who was the last hope but also faded.😥

Yes he did scam the whole thing with the rat in the tub, but what in the world what she doing in his bathtub she had it coming to her ,but yet she fell for his lies like he always, and she finally gave in because no one else wouldn’t dare approach her she was the kings mistress they also call them whores , he wasn’t afraid of the king so he new that Lola was trapped so he took advantage of her situation

Why couldn't they have just have given Narcisse Lola and let him be happy with a healty and alive wife for once? Sometimes, I still come back to these scenes just for these two. dropped the show shortly after.
