Great video mate and you're absolutely spot on, you don't always get the shots you want or spot the species you hoped to see. All part of this wild game. I've got a video coming out in a week or two where I have to share the exact same point because I got absolutely nothing during a 15K hike 🤣 Always next time right? 😅
@Ryanswildlifephotography27 күн бұрын
Haha exactly that, theres always next time mate, although I don't fancy doing too many 15k hikes lol

It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that "you don't always have a great photography days", so to speak but being out there is just if not more rewarding than getting that prize winning shot. Great video. 👍
@Ryanswildlifephotography27 күн бұрын
Totally agree Peter! There are so many days where I used to go out and not have what I would call a "great" day with good pictures to show but I still enjoyed just being out! It's just one of those things that when it doesn't work I've learnt to enjoy those days just as much as when they do!

My local reserve and on a good day there is so much to see. At the moment the Kingfishers are the highlight but there are plenty of Whitethroat, Reed and Sedge Warblers in the reeds. If you are lucky you can even see Water Voles. I personally like Insects and Butterflies and Dragonflies are abundant. Last week I captured a Bee Beetle, quite rare. Nice video and great pictures of the Kingfishers.
