Good Morning sweet friend ❤ Great to see a what I eat in a day video. How did the roast turn out? I love the roasts from Sam's Club to. All their beef always looks better. I have a couple of lights in my house that flicker to. Not as bad as yours but its so annoying. Ours are those LED recessed lights. So its not just a normal bulb to change out. We tried getted a whole new assembly from lowes and that didn't fix it. Could be something to do with the wiring idk. Anyway you have a wonderful weekend. 🥰

It’s confusing to me, all the stuff you have to remember to add to this and add to that. What ever happened to just drinking water and a coffee without all those ingredients.

I generally love grocery pick up and/or delivery. However, Aldi doesn’t make the cut when it comes to this. There are price increases on each item, and you never know if all your items will come, and the subs can be interesting. All other grocery stores I am a big fan of delivery and/or pick up.

Hi Tiffany! Feel for you and your family losing all of your food. I live in Central Florida. It was very windy and poured alot of rain. This time we didn't lose power. I had to bring in my outdoor chair. I had forgotten it. The wind knocked it over. So I brought it in and my more door mat. We had no flooding and no structural damage. We were very fortunate . When Irma came it flooded and knocked out all the power and I lost all the food in my refrigerator and freezer. I feel for you losing your food in refrigerator and freezer. Especially these higher food prices. Glad all of you are safe. You are a wonderful Mom and Wife. Praying for all of you. 💜

My husband and I shop for instacart-Aldi does partner with instacart for pickup and delivery, so the prices are a bit higher for both. All depends on how in a pinch you are. Good luck and prayers to you and your area with the hurricane!

Im so sorry you lost all those groceries 😢 I think prices for the Instacart/aldi pickup are a little higher vs shopping in store but it’s definitely convenient! I don’t use it super often bc I already have to drive a ways to get to aldi but it’s come in handy!

I feel ya. My fridge went out a week ago in the middle of the night so we did not catch it in time so I had to trash everything in my fridge and freezer .😢😢😢😢

There's some type big strike going on up by NY or NJ at the port too so that's definitely going affect food supply

My Aldies fill in hauls are on Tuesdays Just for the basics fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, lunch meat, is always at least 60 or $70. Everything is high! Aldies is the cheapest place though.

My sister and I do our Aldi haul tomorrow! It’s German week (month) here (St. Charles, MO) and a lot of the German foods and treats are coming in!! Last week I got chicken schnitzel, but I haven’t cooked it yet as well as Bavarian style pretzels and sweet treats! Yay, I love most German foods since my dad was in the Army and was stationed there when I was a teenager. You got a great haul and quite a bit of meat for your money! Have a good rest of the week. PS how is Gavin enjoying college?

Never heard of marshmallows and most know of a slice of apple but if my brown sugar starts hardening, I just throw a slice of cheap bbread in it. Next day if not sooner, just fine. I then take it out maybe after a couple of days or sooner. If I need to do again at another point, repeat act. I have to say I've never heard of marshmallows to keep it soft. I wouldn't have them anyhow ever on hand, I never buy them. I don/t have kids at home and and grandkids are now late teens and I sure don't have need for them. But interesting to know--just wanted to mention a slice of bread for anyone who has never heard of that one. Something most people always have.
