In gf3 he took Kay to a same room where he had sex with Apollonia Michael:" I spent so much time in this room thinking of you " Kay:" Than you got married " Michael:" I still thought about you "... He deliberately put her in danger so he can have sex with her and killed her with the wedding..... And that js the point of the ending.....someone killed his child just like he murdered someone's child and Kay was gone like a dream she has always been

When Michael spoke to old Vitteli, moment in a scene when he mentioned marriage Coppola commented with words " This is NOT the case of a prince asking for a princess " Well obviously..... He came into her house to court her.... with presents. He didn't come to get to know her or for her to get to know him. He didn't come to win her regard or respect like he did when Kay came to Sicily. He made her an offer which she goldigging skank she was couldn't refuse. Coppola showed you all that in a movie Wedding was set up in two weeks bc she thought he was rich. He never told her she was in danger. He never told her about mafia war or that Don Tomassino warned him that his enemies know that he is in Sicily. Village circus, spectacle of hypocrisy that was their wedding is how they found him. Michael murdered her with that wedding. She died he came home and told Kay he loved her and cared about her Kay left he got diabetes aged over night stopped smoking drinking killing dressing like mafia or wanting to be mafia. Never took the ring of his finger or touched another woman for the rest of his life.

Don't listen to what everyone else says. Maybe the song doesn't exactly fit the style of the movie, but it fits Michael's life and relationships very well, although I don't think part with Sonny fits quite as well. It shows perfectly how the people he loved the most were always trying to save him from himself, but by the time he realized what he had become it was too late.I'd really love to see a video of this focusing more on the relationship between him and Kay, it fits them perfectly.

I know. I couldve put in some classical violin music instead but i wanted an alternative perspective on the video rather than the classical theme. I know its hard to appreciate for most Godfather fans but all I wanted to see was what it looked like in a semi-sad semi-modern look. I even considered with the violin version of this song, mind you, but i wanted a slight alternative touch to it :)
