I love it when you guys feature tons of books close to my heart. Andy, you cherish those Tales of TMNT…much easier to get all the Tales of at this point! Tales 6 with leatherhead is the best cover of that run, go get it! I remember when I was a new collector and you could find the Mirage vol 1 stuff easily in back issue bins. Golden years for me. Jeremy, Long Halloween and All Star Superman are excellent choices! ❤❤❤

I think when dc launched the dollar line neal adams had something to do with every cover including war and mystery. The bboks were slightly taller than standard comics and were crushed because of it.

I also picked up those books a long time ago. It's hard to pin down those DC super heroes 1st silver age books. At least I think it's debatable. For the Batman title I have all 3 books.

I’m shocked no one has covered this character and the stories in the old war comics. Ive been slowly collecting throughout titles that include this character . I genuinely believe they should bring this back along with GI Combat. My favorite character is the Unknown Soldier from the new 52
