I guess he's trying to convey a message of young man who is full of life and energy and he is talented. In fact, he's so talented that makes him qualified for achieving his dreams. Yet he is suppressed (the continuously poured sand on his head and his pushed down shoulder) and surrounded by boundaries that force him to stay lonely in the dark, unseen and unnoticed.

Come on, its about music, not indoctrination. Its a matter of just reading both Quran and Talmud to know what those think of you while you weep for one side or another.
